GLEAMviz Simulator Changelog

What's new in GLEAMviz Simulator 6.9.0

Apr 16, 2019
  • We have been squashing a few little bugs on the client side, added some information about simulations’ execution, and improved the numerical integration of the epidemic dynamic performed by the server.

New in GLEAMviz Simulator 6.8.0 (Sep 26, 2017)

  • Various improvements and bug-fixes in the builder and visualization components, with additional function-alities that enrich the Map and Analyzer widgets.

New in GLEAMviz Simulator 6.7 (Nov 2, 2016)

  • The GLEAMviz Simulator system version 6.7 features various improvements of the Visualization Dashboard widgets, including the possibility to explore data aggregated on a weekly basis, uniformed higher resolution zoomable maps for the geographically based widgets, and an improved Invasion Tree with an animated
  • display of the invasion patterns.

New in GLEAMviz Simulator 6.6 (Dec 23, 2015)

  • The GLEAMviz Simulator system version 6.6 features new visualization widgets to help explore the outcome of a simulation: the new Analyzer charts –replacing the former Charts panel - allow to easily compare the epidemic evolution in different geographical areas; the Treemap tool lets users visualize the final size of the pandemic; the Invasion tree tool highlights the spreading patterns of the disease around the world.

New in GLEAMviz Simulator 6.5 (Aug 5, 2015)

  • The GLEAMviz Simulator system version 6.5 features a complete redesign of the visualization tools, meant to enhance the capabilities to explore and analyze the data. The former visualization components (map, SpaTo, globe, charts) are now arranged together as dockable widgets in a dashboard window, allowing users to organize them as needed. Long-range human mobility is simulated using recent records about flight bookings, providing an improved description of the origin-destination paths of individuals travelling through the airline transportation network.

New in GLEAMviz Simulator 6.0 (Apr 28, 2015)

  • Population data have been adjourned, as well as mobility data, and
  • the definition of subpopulations has been revised
  • Long-range human mobility is now simulated using recent records about flight bookings, providing an improved description of the origin-destination paths of individuals traveling through the airline transportation network
  • Due to this substantial adjournment version 6.0 is not compatible with version 5.1 and former versions
  • It’s not possible to load into the new client the old simulation, though it’s still possible to import their model and definition
