  • Fixed an optimization bug that caused the ARM version of Glow to use too much memory.
  • Fixed a bug where the ARM version of Glow would sometimes crash.
  • The bug that caused the System Model feature in the Operating System section to appear incorrectly on some systems has been fixed.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the System Family feature in the Motherboard section to display incorrectly in some cases.

New in Glow 2.00 (Dec 12, 2023)

  • What's new:
  • Glow now supports ARM processors! When you download Glow as "Release", the file named "Glow_arm64.exe" is for ARM processors. "Glow_x64.exe" file is for x64 architectures.
  • New Nord Theme has been added to Glow! There are now 3 themes, Light / Dark / Nord.
  • The Installed Drivers and Installed Services section has been improved. It now shows the file path, not just the file name. For this, a new option has been added next to "sort in reverse order".
  • A tool called System Software Tool has been added to the Tools section. This tool allows you to navigate to the official page of the most basic system software you will use after formatting your system. It has an advanced interface. You can access this tool with the shortcut CTRL + R.
  • The SFC and DISM Automation Tool in the Tools section has been renewed. It now shows the Last Repair Time. This time changes after starting each repair. If no record has been taken by Glow before, the corresponding field will say "Never".
  • Fixed Bugs:
  • The engine bug on the Theme Engine, which supports up to 2 themes, has been fixed. It can now provide unlimited theme support.
  • Some bugs in the theme switching algorithm have been fixed and optimized.
  • Fixed bugs in the active page control system in Glow's left menu. Now it works more stable.
  • Fixed a bug where the buttons on Glow's left menu would incorrectly show the active page on fast transitions.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Glow to crash on first launch on operating systems using an open theme.
  • Fixed incorrect display of Disk Partition Number in the Disk section. Now supports all file systems.

New in Glow 1.91 (Oct 29, 2023)

  • What's new:
  • The HTML Engine has been revamped. It is now a powerful report system with new fonts, new look and feel, new quick section switching features.
  • The HTML Printout feature has been improved. Now, when the HTML document is opened, there is a selection box at the bottom left of the page. With this box you can quickly navigate to the desired section.
  • Fixed Bugs:
  • Fixed a window bug in the last Windows 10 22H2 release. Glow should now implement window stabilizations better.
  • Fixed bugs with .NET Framework 4.8.1 where some parts were working problematic.
  • The language parsing error on the HTML Engine has been fixed. Now, the HTML tag is created successfully when it is output with different languages.
  • Fixed an interface bug that caused the sections on the HTML Engine to look bad on different screens.
  • Changes:
  • V1.91 includes a number of adjustments and minor changes for Glow's quality improvement.
  • With Glow v1.91, the jQuery 3.7.1 library has been added to the HTML Export feature.

New in Glow 1.90 (Oct 18, 2023)

  • What's new:
  • Glow .NET Framework has been updated to version 4.8.1.
  • Support provided for Windows 11 23H2.
  • French language support has been revamped and reintroduced to Glow.
  • TRIM Check Tool has been added to the Tools section. This feature shows whether TRIM is turned on or off. If it is off, it also provides the ability to enable it.
  • Fixed Bugs:
  • Fixed an issue where the Motherboard section was loading later than it should.
  • Fixed various graphical errors in the Installed Drivers and Installed Services section.
  • Fixed multi-language engine bugs.
  • Changes:
  • If Glow cannot find the language files, the error message it gives now supports different languages.

  • Fixed a parsing error in the DHCP Status and DHCP Server properties in the Network section. It should be working properly now.

New in Glow 1.86 (Sep 29, 2023)

  • What's new:
  • Glow's garbage collection (unnecessary RAM usage cleaner) has been improved. Now the program uses between 25 and 35 MB of RAM even if it runs for days.
  • Glow now fully supports menu switching with the directional buttons. You can use the right arrow key to navigate to the bottom pages and the left arrow key to navigate to the top pages.
  • Glow menu working algorithm has been renewed. It is now 70% more optimized and stable.
  • Tools section working logic has been revamped. Now you can use Glow itself even when tools are running.
  • The Cache Cleanup Tool has been improved. It now also cleans the "C:WindowsPrefetch" directory.
  • Tools now supports minimization.
  • When a vehicle is open and you want to open it again, the program tells you that it is already open.
  • If a tool is open and iconized, it will also change to window size and send you a Glow notification.
  • The System Time feature in the Operating System section has been improved. It now shows the time in 24 hour format.

New in Glow 1.84 (Sep 18, 2023)

  • What's new:
  • Glow's language folder has been renamed. Now the language files are kept in the g_langs folder instead of the langs folder. This was due to conflicts caused by all software developed by me using the same folder name.
  • Glow's interface now resizes itself for higher DPI levels. This means that the interface overlays are fully responsive to Glow's size.
  • Glow now offers a seamless experience when resizing up to 200% DPI.
  • Glow's graphics engine has been updated. It now delivers Ultra HD text and visual quality up to 16K resolution displays.
  • Glow's interface has been accelerated. All interface sections now run at high performance.
  • The BIOS Mode feature in the Motherboard section has been reprogrammed. It now shows 99% correct results.
  • The Installed Driver/Service Count design in the Installed Drivers and Installed Services section has been revamped. It now prints underneath instead of side by side. In this way, it has gained a modern look.
  • Fixed Bugs:
  • Fixed minor DPI bugs in Windows 10 versions 21H2 and 22H2.
  • Fixed a bug where the header sometimes flickered on Windows 11 systems.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Glow to send the wrong query to Windows during Double Buffering.

  • The error that caused the Slot names of the RAM section in the information exported with the Export Information feature to print incorrectly has been fixed.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the storage partition to leak memory when reading disk information.
  • Fixed a bug where the primary value was lost at different DPI and resolution values of the battery compartment's container.
  • Fixed a bug where the height of the button to clear the search box in Installed Drivers / Installed Services did not change at different DPI levels.

  • Glow no longer needs kernel32.dll to read BIOS Mode. Of course it still uses kernel32.dll for other operations.
  • Glow's page logo in the top menu has been reduced in size.
  • Glow's interface has been centered with the top menu and left menu, resulting in a smoother interface design.

New in Glow 1.83 (Sep 13, 2023)

  • What's new:
  • A setting called Hiding Mode has been added to Glow settings. This setting allows you to hide private information such as email, serial number, device ID, etc. When Hiding Mode is on, the Export Information feature also exports the hidden features as private.
  • Glow's setting saving algorithm has been revamped. Instead of making different containers for each different setting, all settings are now kept in the same container.
  • Fixed Bugs:
  • Fixed a bug where the width of the container in the Network section was incorrect.
  • Changes:
  • Shortcut key layout has been changed. Shortcut keys now continue from F1 to F12.

  • What's new:
  • SFC and DISM Automation Tool added to Tools section. This is a powerful tool that autoruns the necessary commands to repair the operating system.
  • Glow SFC and DISM Automation Tool:
  • Added System Family feature to the Motherboard section. This feature shows which Family the laptop devices are in.
  • Added System SKU to Motherboard section. This feature shows the Stock Code of laptop devices in particular.
  • Bulgarian language support added.

  • Bug Fixes and Improvements:
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the top menu from being centered.
  • Fixed a bug where some tools could change the language of the program but not the language of the program.
  • Fixed a bug where the bottom margin of all tabs in Glow was inconsistent.

  • Windows 8.1 support has been removed. To make Glow better, we are ending support for older generation operating systems. Glow will continue to work on Windows 8.1 and below. However, we will not offer support.
  • BIOS Major-Minor Version and SM-BIOS Major-Minor version features in the motherboard section have been moved to a separate container.
  • IPv4 Address and IPv6 Address in the Network section were moved to a separate container.
  • Changes were made in the translation of some languages.
  • Removed Features:
  • The support page has been removed.

New in Glow 1.67 (May 24, 2023)

  • What's new:
  • TPM Audit Tool has been added in Tools. This is a dynamic tool to showcase the best TPM features ever.
  • File Cleanup Tool has been added in Tools. This tool has the ability to dynamically show and clean Windows Update, junk system files and junk user files.
  • As of Glow v1.67, it now requires administrator permission. This was a prior decision to add some features and make it more stable.
  • Hungarian language support added.
  • Indonesian language support added.

New in Glow 1.66 (May 12, 2023)

  • Added a special algorithm for unknown disks to Disk Partition. This algorithm can automatically identify the Disk Manufacturer based on the disk name.
  • Improved left menu. It is no longer allowed to reactivate the active page. In addition, the cursor normally appears as an arrow on the active page. It continues to be a hand sign on other inactive pages.
  • Minor memory leaks fixed.

New in Glow 1.65 (May 3, 2023)

  • What's new:
  • BIOS Mode feature added to the Motherboard section. This feature shows whether the BIOS Mode is UEFI or Legacy.

  • Introducing the new Quick Access section. As the name suggests, this section gives you quick access to system settings. It is a high performance and functional feature.

  • Added feature to the Motherboard section that checks for Secure Boot. Now you can find out if Secure Boot is turned on without going into the BIOS.

  • A category called Tools has been added to the top menu. This category will host tools that will be added to Glow in the future.
  • Ping Test Tool has been added. This tool allows you to measure the ping of services such as CloudFlare, Google, Microsoft, GeForce Now, etc.
  • Wallpaper open feature has been revamped. Now, instead of opening the wallpaper directly, it opens through Windows Explorer and automatically selects the wallpaper.
  • The names of all variables in the program have been changed. Now those who want to download and use the project will be able to easily understand which variable does what.
