  • Interactions with the map have been sped up in many cases for things like panning, zooming and layout.

  • Synching with the server is now faster in many cases.

  • Improved the logic for laying out nodes in map, particularly with groups.
  • OverFlow State:
  • The state of OverFlow synchronization for files is now shown.
  • Refresh Map Button:
  • There is a button above the map that will refresh the layout of the map.

  • Stubs for files are now shown in the regular map along with a new ability to add all inputs or outputs to a file with a single click.

  • There is now an option when logging out of Flow to remove all user files and preferences.

  • Cloud Metadata and Media Synchronization:
  • Flow Cloud Server now allows you to sync your metadata across machines and between users.
  • You can now share and sync media assets via the cloud with 4GB of free storage space.
  • Projects:
  • You can create and track projects
  • Projects can be shared with other Flow users so that everyone can work together and be made aware as things change.
  • Enhanced, Customizable Maps:
  • We have added folders into the Map view. This allows you to quickly clean up your maps.
  • You can now customize the position of nodes and folders in Project Maps.
  • Maps can now be navigated by expanding links in specific directions.
  • System Controls:
  • You can move or copy files around your system by moving nodes between folders on a map.
  • Our new system browser allows you to navigate folder hierarchies in the traditional way.
  • Versions:
  • You can now manage all of your Flow versions from one central place in the application.
  • You can quickly determine which projects or files are consuming the most version space.
  • Cleaning up version files can be done at several points quickly and easily.
  • You can save an old version as a new document.
  • Of course, you can still revert to a previous version of a file at any time.
  • Enhanced Time Management:
  • We have added enhanced time tracking information, giving you time breakdowns by file, application, and project.
  • You can now edit the time data associated with a file to re-assign it to other projects.
  • Activities that Flow can not track (like meetings, phones calls, etc.) can be accounted for by adding custom time entries to a project.
  • Other Goodies:
  • The Dashboard application has been redesigned and is much less intrusive.
  • Costly scanning of entire file systems has been replaced with dynamic, track-as-you-go behavior.
  • The application's user interface has been revamped and its database streamlined.
  • Preferences have been cleaned up and simplified.
