What's new in HL2VRU 0.0.7
Apr 12, 2024- Fixed weapon orientation not being affected by the wrist while dual wielding (issue #8) -- now HL2VRU behaves the same as vanilla HL2VR.
- Prior behavior can be restored by changing hlvr_virtualstock_lock_roll to 1.
- Added custom textures for the pistol, the 357 revolver, and the shotgun to improve ironsight visibility.
- Back ironsights are now coloured slightly differently from front ironsights.
- The virtual stock is now only enabled when the weapon is held close to the player's shoulder.
- The distance is configurable in the gameplay settings menu.
- This change allows players to take "blind shots" around corners while holding a weapon with two hands, as long as the weapon is held not too close to the shoulder.
- The 357 revolver can now be fired as fast as the player can pull the trigger, similarly to the pistol.
- Added a workaround to prevent a crash during "White Forest" in EP2, it seems to work but more testing is appreciated.

- Rebased on HL2VR's December update.
- Physical hands, ProTubeVR support, and other minor fixes/tweaks.
- Changed two-handed grip for the RPG -- the second hand now rests on top of the RPG, near the muzzle.
- Tweaks to "Weapon Weight Simulation" to improve the overall feel of the feature.
- Fixed shotgun primary fire always behaving as alt-fire.
