  • Deployment of distributions:
  • Selection of the execution order of the distributions if several distributions selected.
  • Sharing and printing center:
  • Automatic addition of the IP present as a port as the printer management URL : right click on your print server, Print and Sharing Center, tab Printers, right click on the printer, Web administration interface.
  • Disabling the SMB1 Protocol:
  • This new version takes into account the default deactivation of the SMB1 protocol in newer versions of Windows. The SMB1 protocol allows in particular the recovery of domains and domain controllers present on the network via the NetBIOS protocol. We have changed our application so that this setting can be done manually.

  • We are now working with the latest version of Microsoft's Visual Studio to develop our administration tool guaranteeing security and speed increased execution, as well as compliance with development standards.

  • SOFTWARE DEPLOYMENTS:
  • You can now select multiple distributions to run on a set of computers.
  • SHADOW REMOTE CONTROL:
  • We added the ability to run RDP SHADOW mode without permission request for the remote user. This mode requires setting up a GPO.
  • Possibility of performing searches in the tabs found in the Printing and Sharing Center: Action Search menu or right click on a column name, then Search. You can, for example, quickly find the user name and initiate a remote session.
  • MICROSOFT WINDOWS NETWORK RESEARCH:
  • The search in the list is no longer done only on the computer name, you can now select the columns in which to perform the search. These columns will be automatically recalled when the software is launched.
  • ACTIVE DIRECTORY REPORTS (REPORTING):
  • We've added a new Open in Browser button when viewing Active Directory reports. This button opens the HTML report in your Internet browser.

  • The software could generate an error while creating an HTML report.

  • This new version uses the current Active Directory domain by default to list all computers in the domain. You can activate this function if the domain is already configured in a tab. For it, use the "Filter" button to the right of the domain name (right view) then "Configure Apply a filter List computers by Active Directory Domain", "Apply".
  • Previously, the list of computers was by default obtained by Netbios and it was possible that you don't have all the computers in the list.
  • The routines for displaying information from client computers and servers have been reviewed and improved.

  • The viewer and server have been completely redesigned for a much better display and control.
  • IDEAL Administration installs and configures the 32-bit or 64-bit version of the remote control depending on the type of local or remote operating system (Gain in Speed).
  • This new version is updated automatically on clients and servers.
  • Clipboard transfer can be deactivated (menu "Control", "TightVNC Settings", "Advanced" tab).
  • Aero system of the remote client is automatically stopped (if configured) even if the remote user does not have enough rights.
  • TSE Remote Desktop:

  • Active Directory Templates:

  • Active Directory Templates:
  • New "Templates" feature (Active Directory Network tab) that allows you to create templates of your Active Directory objects: User groups, users, contacts, organizational units.
  • When creating an Active Directory object, you can select an existing template to prefill the different attributes (right click in the Active Directory view then "New from template").
  • Active Directory Reports:
  • "Operating Systems" reports type can now also be represented as a bar chart.
  • TightVNC:
  • Simplification of the authorization request by checking the box "Always prompt the user to accept the connection" (Control menu, TightVNC configurator, "Authorization" tab).

  • Remote Command Prompt. It is now possible to run the MS-DOS command prompt on remote computers, by right-clicking on the computer, then selecting Command Prompt. When logging in, you can configure the user account as well as the default directory: File menu > Configuration > Command Prompt.
  • Domain computer filtering based on operating system, Organizational Unit, or computer name. This function allows you, for example, a right view list of only the servers and workstations in a particular Organizational Unit. These filters can be configured by domain and are saved on exiting the program. To configure the filters: click on the icon (right view).
  • Management of WMI Methods that allow the modification and reading of WMI Classes.
