- Some issues were reported during the launch or installation of the client in multiple versions of Windows.
- In these situations end-users reported:
- Blank Window
- NullReference Error Messages
- Instances where the TUN/TAP driver would not install or not install correctly were reported. Such as:
- A new instance of the TUN/TAP driver being installed every time the client launched
- Windows 8.x issue where initiating an OpenVPN connection would simply time out
- We added the latest version of the TUN/TAP driver
- Changed the behaviour of the existing VPN log so we could get better information about crashes that happen before the client launches

- OpenVPN (for Windows 8) is back in the main protocol selection and no longer needs to be activated via the preferences.
- The X button no longer closes app but instead minimizes the application to the system tray.
