New in Inspector FX 12.00.3 (Jan 29, 2016)
- Pre-Inspection Signature Capture - Since the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader contains the ability to capture signatures we have eliminated the requirement to use Windows Journal to sign Pre-Inspection agreements. PDFs can be automatically emailed to clients using the Print button (if an email address is entered for the order). Once received they can sign the agreement with a mouse, keyboard or touchscreen.
New in Inspector FX 12.00.2 (Jan 29, 2016)
- Fixed printing of extra comments pages containing photos
- Fixes clicking on magnifying glass on some photos on the page opens different photo.
- Custom Report - When printing to pdf, it does not print the photos or Addendum.
- On the iPad, on a report page if you click the magnifying glass it opens a different photo.
- Photo numbering issue on pages 3 and 4. All photos show up numbered as #5 when viewed on actual page.
- Enlarging photo on iPad pulls up a "thumbnail", which is too small to really be useful.
- Marketing - Added the ability to export first name, last name, email address, inspection address, inspection date and inspector name to a .csv file that can be imported into Constant Contact or similar email marketing services.
- Fixed navigation to and from Inspector FX to WDI FX and SmartPest.
- Fixed printing of invoices so that it doesn't print a second page.
- TREC:
- Removed checkbox field values for roof method of inspection from the Structural Foundation section on the printed report. and moved to the correct section.
- Updated entire report to me TREC version 7-3 effective 1/1/2014
- Add TREC button to Main Menu
- Added page numbering to the Deficiency Summary
- Add emailing option to use the client Bill To email address
New in Inspector FX 12.00.1 (Jan 29, 2016)
- GENERAL UPDATE:
- Upgraded to FileMaker Pro 12 format
- Added JoinMe link to the Help Menu. Allows New Image and Inspector FX users to host or attend online meetings and tech support sessions.
- GHI:
- Photo Mgr. When navigating between pages only photos for respective pages are displayed. To view all photos, go the the General Information page where all images are sorted and numbered by page.
- Added additional pages (total of 4 pages) with thumbnails for each page of the report
- Added the ability to automatically number each page of the report.
- Added the ability to remove any section by deselecting the checkbox on the first page of that section.
- Added dynamic Table of Contents to displays page titles and numbers of each section marked to print.
- Updated color coding process of Perspective values.
- Interior Rooms Made the field labels for items #14, #15 & #16 editable on each report. Previously the default labels were, Number of wet bars, Number of fireplaces/wood stoves, Fuel Source. Gave users the ability to set any value as a default entry for new reports.
- Added a field at the top of the Summary page to allow custom disclosure notices to be inserted to meet certain state regulations.
- Added an item number to each defect listed to make it easier for an agent to respond to a seller post-inspection.
- ORDER ENTRY:
- Changed Yahoo Maps button to Google Maps on desktop
- Added the ability to calculate commissions on individual inspection line items as an alternative to flat commission pricing. In the Inspector setup area you can now choose between two commission types: 1) Order which calculates commissions as it has in the past, 2) Item which calculates based on the commission rate establish in the Pricing tab.
- Added the ability to use the Payment screen as a Statement. The layout now displays the word "Statement" and includes the company logo.
New in Inspector FX 8.62.0 (May 21, 2009)
- The new version now allows inspector to address repair costs in foreclosed properties. A customizable disclaimer appears at the bottom of the summary. Updated TREC inspection and General Home Inspection (GHI) reports. Now works with WDI FX Pest Control 9.0. Includes updated PDF-Factory 3.48.
