  • New features:
  • Check if some Item Fields are missing: You can check this option to automatically switch to Deep Scan mode if some item fields are found missing while scanning an EDB file.
  • Corrupted File: If this option is checked, the solution will replace garbage values, shown when the EDB file is too corrupted to recover the original mailbox name, with "MailboxLepide."
  • Enhancements:
  • The recovery of EDB files, especially in Exchange Server 2013 and 2016, has been improved.
  • EDB file searching has been sped up. The process of saving emails that appear in search results has also been enhanced.
  • Minor bugs fixes.

New in Kernel for Exchange Server 16.0 (Nov 29, 2016)

  • A new setting, ‘Ask for EDB Version,’ has been added in Tools -> Settings. If users select this checkbox, they will get the option of specifying the Exchange version by which the EDB has been created at the time of adding an EDB in source. This feature has been introduced because in some cases correct EDB version cannot be determined by default.
  • The new version will now perform enhanced recovery of Exchange 2013 and Exchange 2016 mailboxes.
  • With the trial version, users will be able to work with only 25 items per folder while copying, exporting and restoring folders.

  • Exchange 2016 recovery is enabled as well as the ability to add Exchange 2016 in source and destination, meaning users can move its data to anywhere including the cloud.

  • In addition to the older Outlook versions, Outlook 2016 is also supported in the latest release, and therefore Outlook 2016 OST data can also be recovered.
