  • There is also an option to show memory usage to allow further comparison of thread options. Memory usage is that currently being used while Peak is the maximum recoded since the application was opened.
  • Camera images are normally in 4:3 format, though some are able to create a wide format. When resizing, select '16:9 output format' to create a wide format image. The image is cropped taking the centre of the original image. Only landscape images will be processed. Images in a portrait format will be resized without changing the format. Images already in 16:9 format will not be changed.
  • The 'STOP' button will halt the process but any running threads will continue until finished.
  • Double click a file name in the list to open it in a viewer. The viewer shows the original image size in the caption.
  • CTRL+A will select all file names in the list. CTRL+DEL will delete all selected file names in the list. DELETE will delete just the single selected file name.
  • CTRL+C will copy selected file names to clipboard. CTRL+V will replace the existing file list with clipboard content. NOTE THERE IS NOTHING STOPPING YOU PASTING ANY TEXT CURRENTLY ON THE CLIPBOARD but Lightning Image Resizer will check each line pasted and if not an acceptable file name, will delete it. You can also copy files in Explorer and use CTRL+V to paste file names into the list.
