  • General enhancements
  • Autoarchive recipe and ingredient imports:
  • The autoarchive options you set up for downloads can also be used for imported recipes and ingredients.
  • Nutrition graphs:
  • Living Cookbook 2013 gives you the option to display three nutrition graphs for recipes, ingredients, menus and meal plans. The three nutrition graphs are: 1) Calorie distribution pie chart (the percentage of calories coming from carbs, fat, protein and alcohol); 2) Carb-protein ratio pie chart (the ratio of calories from carbs vs. protein); and 3) Percent of recommended daily allowance bar chart (the percentage of RDA for each nutrient expressed as a bar chart). You can choose to display any or all (or none) of these charts. You can also customize the colors, fonts, font sizes, etc.
  • Customize user data display and print:
  • We have expanded the display options for recipe, ingredient and menu user data. You can now choose to show or hide individual user data fields.
  • Nutrition calculation mode added to paste special:
  • The nutrition calculation mode for recipes (automatic, semi-automatic and manual) can be copied and pasted (using the paste special feature). This is useful when you want to change the nutrition calculation mode for a large number of recipes. The nutrition calculation mode can be displayed in the recipe list view and it is now a searchable attribute.
  • Item IDs added to advanced search:
  • Item IDs (e.g. recipe ID, ingredient ID, etc.) are now searchable attributes.
  • Select all/select none buttons in import and export options:
  • Select All and Select None buttons have been added to the import and export option dialogs to make it easier to select all or none of the import and export attributes.
  • MyPoints updated to include alcohol and sugar alcohols:
  • The MyPoints algorithm and interface have been updated to support alcohol and sugar alcohols. This will help our many Weight Watchers® users who requested the ability to use the updated PointsPlus® formula with Living Cookbook.
  • Four new video file formats:
  • Living Cookbook now supports MOV, MP4, 3GP and M2V video file formats in addition to MPEG, AVI, ASX, SWF, FLV and WMV.
