What's new in MICRODEM 2023.3.27.1

• New features:
• New false color vegetation display mode for satellite imagery, with 2 IR bands and a very vibrant green for the vegetation
• Grids created from satelllite images (NDVI, etc.) immediately subset to the same map area
• Average by latitude graph for databases. 2D graph
• Improved options to show and save the vertical datum
• Concerted effort to correctly track and record RasterPixelIsGeoKey1025 and VerticalCSTypeGeoKey though all DEM creation, edits, and file saving for both the MICRODEM format and Geotiff
• Insure the debug log always has the GDAL version listed to track down "exotic new projection" issues
• Option on Graph settings to make all line symbols thicker or thinner
• New Merge another DEM hillshade (quick), on Overlay, Mulitple map interactive comparisons. This was added recently for automatic selection when loading a number of analysis maps, but now can be selected. for more control on the opacity, pick the Variable opaque merge
• Separate tolerances for the DEMIX map patterns (elevation, slope, and roughness) set on the Analysis tabe of the options form
• Option to subset map and zoom to full resolution
• On Recenter option
• On zoom to record to point database
• Option on the Edit menu to edit the VAT.DBF file for grids to change colors and category names
• V 20 of the land cover database, for LCMAP
• Legend available for Difference/change map
• Bug fixes:
• Fixed bug that program was not drawing LOS/terrain profiles
• Fixed bug with mean filtering in DB table
• Fixed bug with annual plot of wind vector at a point (may still be problematic to interpret)
• Fixed issues with Geotiff arc/second grids with 0-360 range for the longitude
• Fixed issues with subtracting a grid from another; unclear how long it has been present (affects shift to EGM2008)
• Fixed problems reading Geotiff in Albers Projection (e.g. Landfire EVT) if it did not define the projection parameters
