What's new in MPThree Alarm Clock 1.03

Aug 13, 2009
  • The 'Reset wake time' option did not function at all and now does.
  • Modified the options form to meet ergonomics standards.
  • The alarm dialog now stays on top.

New in MPThree Alarm Clock 1.02 (Aug 13, 2009)

  • If the user slept longer than the total snooze time set in the options and pressed the snooze button, it would set the wake time to an already passed time. (It was taken for granted that the user always pressed the snooze button within one minute of the alarm triggering).
  • Forgot to consider the snooze hours too, it was limited to 59 minutes
  • Forgot to check the 'prevent Windows shutdowns' config value in an improbable context.
  • Code optimizations for the options.
  • Added a method that prevents the execution of multiple instances of the rogram.
  • Changed the packaged MP3 to a rooster’s morning melody.
  • Added hints on the options dialog.
  • File size is now 17% smaller than the previous version (now 597k).
  • Added file and version information in executable.
  • Added an option to prevent windows shutdowns while the alarm clock is running, and enabled.

New in MPThree Alarm Clock 1.01 (Aug 13, 2009)

  • The program wouldn't re-start the playback of the MP3 if its length was over one minute, bug corrected.
  • If the user pressed the stop button, he couldn't reactivate the alarm without restarting the program, bug corrected.
  • When the user selected a file of an unknown format, an exception was thrown but wasn't catched, now it is.
  • If the user didn't want to repeat the playback and pressed on the snooze button, the playback did not restart. It does now.
  • Added a button on the "about" dialog that checks the latest version of the program on the web.
  • The icon file "smac.ico" is no longer necessary.
