  • All currently available languages are included in the distribution.
  • Now able to store directory structure in ZIP files (Pro Edition only).
  • New "add all files in dir (recursively)" button (Pro Edition only).
  • Easier language selection inside the program.
  • Malfunctioning zipping in version 1.51 corrected (Pro Edition only).
  • Corrected pre-defined "1.44M (HD)" to "1.38M (HD)" so that the pieces will fit on a floppy.
  • Fixed problem with MXS and BAT file creation under Windows 2000.
  • In the "size/piece" box you can no longer choose zero pieces.

  • The "autodetect" feature was deemed obsolete and thus removed. All of its tasks are performed much better with the "fill entire disk" feature, which should be used instead.
  • Problems with "wipe disk before splitting" under windows 2000 fixed.
  • When using "custom size" and filesize > free disksize, pressing "abort" caused MaxSplitter to continue splitting, and eventually crashing. This error has been removed.
  • The phrases "remember last browsed dir" and "remember last used tab" didn't change when loading a different language.
  • Added space in front of dialog entry "Please free space and retry"
  • "Pieces with current size/piece:"-value in properties window will automatically adjust to the end of the text. In some languages, this value appeared in the
  • middle of the phrase (Professional Edition only).
