  • FIXED delay for the Repeat-After-Me memorization method in Auto Advance. Now delays properly according to User's reading speed entered within same dialog as characters per second (12 is the average c.p.s.).
  • ENHANCED delay in the Bible Reader. Now while delaying between reading verses the active buttons will respond and the timer will continue to update.

  • ADDED "Overlap" Memorization Method in Project Study. Gives ability to overlap the reading of both full verses and parts of verses. Best used for help in memorizing Bible passages. This method posts on each line first letters preceded by the reference of the verse they are within. When the "Repeat-After-Me" Memorization is concurrently used, the verses that include pausing characters will occupy more than one line.
  • ADDED pause feature for the Bible Reader where pausing for a configured number of seconds will occur after reading each verse before continuing to the next.
  • FIXED in "Walking Hand-In-Hand" Mp3 player/reader where sometimes the correct verse for the reference given would not show. Also FIXED in same the book highlighting to highlight the current book.
  • FIXED sorting in "Click Mixed" test. It was just discovered that the same sorting sequence was used each time. Now sorting on each occasion will always be unique.
  • MODIFIED font size in User & Project selection windows as no longer variable but .15 consistently, so lengthy project names will rarely be truncated.
  • ADDED an attractive color scheme to the selection buttons of the Bible book name/abbreviations.
  • ADDED a button to display the words remaining to be found in the current Word Find puzzle.

  • FIXED within Import using references. A coding error as to code added since this was previously working prevented importing.
  • FIXED also within Import using references where sometimes formatting text (namely the "+" sign which indicates an added word in the K.J.V.) would appear within the verse text.

  • ADDED the "Walking Hand-In-Hand mp3 Player/Reader" created by Run Right Software in order to make Bible Study by mp3 more effective and desirable. This player will accord a script file (.hih) with an mp3 audio file it was designed for. 4 script files (created by Run Right Software) are installed with this version. Their associated audio files you will need to download. (2 of these audio files you can download on our webpage: Click here for these audio files. The player will display the Bible verses as they are referred to or quoted within the mp3. It displays summaries (however few or many as designed) which are referred to as segments.   • FIXED in Project Edit where newly entered data of the current record was lost if the user while upon that record imported records. The record now commits to memory before importing occurs. And as before, no changes are saved until clicking on "SAVE" or clicking "YES" upon exiting Project Edit when prompted to save changes.
  • FIXED within the "Import using References" option in "Import Records" where the import was not occurring correctly when the selected verses overlapped 2 or more passages within the same chapter.

  • FIXED where forward slashes (parsing indicators for the "Repeat-After-Me" memorization method were being removed from a project loaded into the editor by a coding error. Simply re-import your projects from the Preconfigured projects folder to get these parsing indicators back. If you created your own project & attempted to place them within, I am so sorry they would not retain in version 1.5.0.0.

  • FIXED audio button in Bible verse viewer to read a verse after using the Bible reader.
  • FIXED the alarm in Project Study which was not working if the alarm time was set to any of the 5 minute talking-clock intervals that were unset to speak the time.
  • CHANGED the "NEXT" and "PREV" passage buttons in the Bible Verse viewer to "NEXT psg-fnd" and "PREV psg-fnd". Now when a find is successful these buttons will navigate through the list when clicking on these buttons. To revert to NEXT and PREV simply open "FIND" and click on "Cancel."
  • ADDED 2 new record import modules (1) to import directly from the included KJV Bible using a list of references and (2) to import from both biblical and non-biblical text using ID delimiters. (Full import instructions are now given within scrollable text in the import window.
  • ADDED an options dialog after reading the Bible passage for the tab. You can now set to re-read what was just read or set to continue at the next passage in the next reading.
  • ADDED a Bible Reading Counts viewer for each of the 66 books.
  • ADDED a button in Project Edit to copy any text field and active status to other records. You enter a number for your selection and afterwards enter one or more sets of records ranges to apply to.
  • ENHANCED the list dialog in the Bible Viewer and Reader to highlight the previous selected or current item.
  • ENHANCED the First Letter Test virtual keyboard. More clear and larger. A button toggles it on and off.
  • INCREASED the fade-in time for the fade-in alarm sounds.

New in Memorization Professional 1.4.3.2 (May 17, 2014)

  • FIXED T.T.S. tweaking wherein when a word was found within another word that begins with the same letter i.e. "biteth" in "backbiteth", it was not replaced with the tweak, but now is.
  • FIXED the Word Find puzzle which would on some occasions crash for no apparent reason.
  • FIXED the width of longer words within the puzzles to fit within their frames by reducing only the font size of such longer words.
  • FIXED the input window where it was accepting the Enter key without the window having focus. The input window must now have focus to accept an entry.

New in Memorization Professional 1.4.3.1 (May 12, 2014)

  • FIXED the Tweaking file update. Now updates Run Right Software's TTS Tweaking file for the current voice.
  • FIXED several of the reading options in auto advance. The program crash when selecting "Read paragraph only" before other reading options were used within a program run.
  • FIXED where the timer display within the Bible reader now only updates once per second - instead of continuously. This eliminates flickering of the timer field and yields to better computer performance.
  • CHANGED within Project Study: The chapter field was narrowed whereas the verse field was widened to accommodate a multiple verse reference of 7 characters such as 175-176 in Psalm 119:175-176.

New in Memorization Professional 1.4.3.0 (May 1, 2014)

  • FIXED the Set Project's (User's) Folder utility where it now changes these paths correctly after creating the required folders and copying over all existing projects and users to the selected directory. (Note: the target path "...\User Data\" must be empty for copy to occur.)
  • CHANGED where the Admin password must be entered for the Preconfigured Projects directory to open. This was done primarily to prevent student access to the server if the program is being used in a school setting.
  • CHANGED where in the tweaking editor when any of the 26 letters above the tweaking list are clicked (as used only with tweaking type 3,) if the current type is not type 3 - the editor will switch to type 3. Selecting type 3 before clicking a letter is no longer needed.

New in Memorization Professional 1.4.2.2 (Apr 28, 2014)

  • FIXED wherein the Bible Reader clicking on pause/timer did not stop the timer. Now it does correctly.
  • FIXED wherein the T.T.S. tweak type 2 would hang if for instance "his will" was found within "This will." Since whole words are required for type 2, this instance would not be replaced. Using type 1 would make such a replacement so be careful when making entries for type 1.

  • FIXED where in the Bible Verse Viewer, Strong's definitions in some rare cases were incorrectly showing for one or more selected words.
  • UPDATED the T.T.S. Tweaking file for IVONA's British English Brian. Added a dozen or so words and phrases. Corrected a few.

  • ADDED update button in T.T.S. Tweaking editor. When clicked the T.T.S. tweaking file for the current voice is checked with same file on our website and is updated if different (which means it is newer.) This only updates R.R.S. files (not users files) and only for the current active voice when supported by Run Right Software. Only 4 voices are currently supported.

  • FIXED where second tweaking type was not applying.
  • FIXED where the Bible bookmarks were not recalling the verse number of the correct passage recalled.
  • ADDED window moving functionality to the Bible Reader.
  • CHANGED the audio button in the Bible Reader as an auto-read toggle, wherein when clicked and turned on the current verse and all other verses appearing will be read. Click button again to turn off auto-read.

  • Error during check for upgrade would display a window for user response but gave no prompt. The dialog will correctly display when an upgrade becomes available. Update notification continues with no problems and all users of Mem. Pro. 1.2.0.0 will be notified of this update (1.2.0.1) as update checking occurs on every 7th run.

New in Memorization Professional 1.2.0.0 (Sep 24, 2013)

  • ADDED:
  • Ability to download preconfigured projects from Run Right Software directly from within Mem. Pro. This functionality is accessed from within the Preconfigured Projects Selection window by selecting "Import From Website." Read more about this within Online Help. It will also be noted in Mem Pro Help 1.2.0.0 when that becomes available later in the week.
  • Automatic program update checking on every 7th run. Users may also check by clicking on "About" near the bottom right of the Main Menu. If a newer version is available a dialog will appear asking if you wish to download it. For now, the update will be placed in the User's Documents directory and can be run from there. Also checked are upgrades if any.
  • A range entry for Mem Pro's banner #2 when run within Mem. Pro. This range appears near the top of the Banner settings dialog.
  • Another import option within Project Edit's Import Records dialog. Previously, importing from the dialog only involved biblical text. You may now import quotations and other types of text by prefixing the various parts of the text to be imported with field identifiers. These IDs are noted within the dialog when clicking on the option "Import ID delimited text..."
  • FIXED:
  • When password protection was being used, the "Admin logged in flag" was not clearing just after Admin being logged in and having just enter a new user and the new user logged in immediately after that user's Username was created. The new user had admin privileges until exiting or until another user was selected. This has been fixed as well as Admin not having to log in twice before being able to add a new user.
  • CHANGED:
  • The program icon for Mem Pro Help has changed. The pants of the running man are "red" instead of "blue" as in Mem Pro. When Mem Pro Help 1.2.0.0 becomes available, the pants in its icon is white. This will help to better distinguish between them. Also, the filename of the desktop icon for Memorization Professional was shortened to "Mem Pro."

New in Memorization Professional 1.0.2.1 (Jul 18, 2013)

  • FIXED critical error that occurred during the editing or saving of a project that either came installed by Mem. Pro. as preconfigured and imported or that was downloaded from our website. The header of these project files were removed to make them smaller and the variable that indicates the project to be sequential or random was not saved into a variable that indicates whether it was changed during editing. This error did not effect projects created by users.
  • FIXED cursor not showing in user input dialog. It was believed that this was fixed but the previous fix was placed in the coding before the input dialog was called and it was found that the fix could actually be located after the call to the input dialog. There were several places in the coding that called this dialog that were overlooked. This fix takes care of all calls to the input dialog and the cursor should show in most cases after only a split second delay.

New in Memorization Professional 1.0.2.0 (Jul 17, 2013)

  • ADDED the copy of the preconfigured directories in the default path of "User Data" to the newly selected path. This is really only needed by M.P. running on a L.A.N. server and not on the clients and only when the clients are not able to access the default path on the server "C:\Program Data\Memorization Professional\User Data." When Admin running M.P. on the server selects to change the path when the path on the server is directed to another folder on the server, when that folder is empty all preconfigured projects and encouragement text will be copied over to the new path. If the target path "User Data" folder is not empty - only the path is changed and no copy is performed. NOTE: No user data folders are copied over. This must be done manually as described in Mem. Pro. Help.

New in Memorization Professional 1.0.1.8 (Jul 16, 2013)

  • FIXED the input dialog where sometimes the cursor fails to show when the dialog is first opened.
  • FIXED the cursor not to blink in the notification (non-input) dialog.
  • FIXED all Mem. Pro. windows to maintain the window position of the Main Menu as moved either by the user or when clicking on "Help" in the Main Menu. The programs window position may also be adjusted in Project Edit and Project Study.
  • FIXED the score of all records taken during an Exam to multiply each correct or incorrect answer times 3. This is noted in the documentation. This multipling of the exam score can bring up one's overall score as a project is mastered.

  • FIXED a critical bug - when first running M.P. it will crash for attempting to construct from a null string to pass to text-to-speech.

  • FIXED a critical bug - program crashed when attempting to select a project type for a new project.
  • FIXED a minor bug - Hint text for "Auto Audio" button was showing "Turn off.." when the Auto Audio was off and vice-a-versa.
  • FIXED an inconvient bug - When uninstalling M.P., M.P's start up files would be uninstalled. The uninstaller coding was changed so as to keep these files intact - along with all User's configurations and their projects.
  • MODIFIED Text-to-speech when speaking a project name that includes numbers such as 101, 102, 103. It will now say these numbers without using the word "hundred." For instance "The Word of God 101" will be spoken as "The Word of God one Oh one."

  • FIXED a critical bug - M.P's windows were not closing properly when using Alt-F4 to close M.P. windows instead of the buttons provided.
  • FIXED a critical bug - The rich text file (Rich Text Layout.rtf) used by the Export to Wordpad feature accessed from within Project Study would crash because that file was not found; for not being included within the installation. So when trying to export first letters to Wordpad the program would crash.

  • CHANGED the non-flashing underline cursor in M.P's input dialog to a blinking cursor - alternating with red, white and blue colors. Note that inserting or using the left and right arrow keys are not allowed during input. Only the backspace key is allowed.
  • ADDED a reset ability accessed from M.P's Splash screen (by pressing "R") in case a problem occurs with M.P's startup files.
