  • The version 1.0 offers, among other things, an album search for several songs at the same time and a more efficient search for ID3 tags.
  • You can now download Mp3TagsForTracks in the official version 1.0.
  • Never before you’re able to tag your music so reliably and quickly with ID3 tags.
  • With Mp3TagsForTracks, you can equip your Mp3 music collection with meta information (so-called ID3 tags). To do this, Mp3TagsForTracks requires only the Songartist and Songtitel to start the automatic search in our database. After just a few seconds, you get the ID3 tags, which you can optionally edit again. The ID3 tags that Mp3TagsForTracks automatically fills include album cover, album track number, year, genre, artist, songtitel, and album names.
  • In addition, Mp3TagsForTracks provides all settings to store the song in the save format you prefer. In addition, the volume can be normalized when you store it, which prevents you from having your music collection at a different volume level.
  • Important changes in version 1.0:
  • If the search for ID3 tags did not follow your wishes, the search can be called again with changed parameters. The selection of these parameters is completely automated. The corresponding button can be found in the album selection window.
  • A bug has been fixed to remove songs if the song contains unknown characters.
  • It is now possible to edit several songs of an album at the same time. The selected songs are already pre-sorted so you can save the time-consuming sorting of your songs with the songs of the album. Just select two or more songs to assign to an album.
  • Since the first hits were already correct in the search, only three albums are loaded. Thus, the charging time could be shortened again. Further albums can be reloaded at any time.

New in Mp3TagsForTracks 0.9 (Aug 4, 2017)

  • Mp3TagsForTracks in version 0.8 can be seen as a lot more powerful than Mp3TagsForTracks in version 0.9 provides better performance and a faster, more efficient search for ID3 tags.
  • The biggest innovation in version 0.9 brings better usability and performance. From this version on, the dialog for selection of an album contains only 3 albums, whereby additional albums can be loaded by a click. Thus the loading time, especially for songs, which are contained in many albums, is substantially reduced. Since version 0.7 it’s also possible to display the album cover in this dialog no longer, which reduces the loading time to a minimum.
  • The main bug fix in this release affect the saving of Mp3 files. In some cases, Mp3 files were saved correctly with the associated ID3 tags, but the album cover was not saved correctly. This bug could be fixed in version 0.9 so that all ID3 tags are correctly saved and displayed in the Mp3 file.

New in Mp3TagsForTracks 0.8 (Aug 4, 2017)

  • Mp3TagsForTracks in version 0.8 can be seen as a lot more powerful than previous versions. In this regard, an error has been fixed which delayed the program start of Mp3TagsForTracks in certain cases for some time.
  • The biggest innovation is that even more songs can be found automatically. This means simply to specify artist and song title and the subsequent search will find the song you are looking for and store all ID3 tags directly in the selected song, without any additional files or similar. It is now also possible to save several songs at the same time. It is therefore no longer necessary to store each song individually, but it is enough to store all songs at the end. A corresponding message appears, if changed files were not saved when Mp3TagsForTracks were terminated.
  • Some users have also pointed out to us that the songs of the storage folder are not immediately re-read when you change them. So the songs were only read in again and displayed in Mp3TagsForTracks when you restart the program. This bug has also been fixed in version 0.8.
