What's new in NGM 1.2
Mar 25, 2010- Add:
- NGM is portable and can be run from any folder(e.g. USB flash drive etc.) without installation copying or moving files show number of files and remaining time
- when renaming a file that already exist, NGM ask you a question to replace it instead of getting error code
- scrolling files and copy function speed optimization
- Fixed bugs:
- option F3 for viewing files didn't work when option for using internal viewer was checked
- in case deleting a file to recycle bin and get error code, the error code was incorrect
- when you have selected This computer or Network neighborhood in one panel you couldn't select it in second panel
- when you listed an archive in one panel you couldn't select the same drive in second panel
- use context menu crashed in listed archive
- NGM doesn't display disk drives on Windows 7
- Explorer context menu (after pushing RMB) on Vista and Windows 7 doesn't display correctly
- option disconnect network drives doesn't work on Vista and Windows 7
New in NGM 1.0 (Mar 9, 2007)
- size of bigger files (more than 4GB) was displayed wrongly
- configuration from previous version was not taken all
- progress bar with used and free disc space showed total disc space instead of used disc space on the left side icon's look
- bar for showing available drives. Unnmaped drives was not showed in that bar. Now all of drives are showed here.
- directory browsing on file system path
- option for automatic refresh. When any file is changed (deleted, created ...) in current directory, ngm will refresh list of files automatically.
- option for setting icon detection. Getting icons for some files (.exe, .lnk ...) is slow especially on networks path, now is possible to choose drive where the icons will be detected.
- sorting files by name, size, time and extension
- menu option for saving configuration
- browsing system folders (Control Panel, My computer, Desktop ...)
