New in NeoBookDX 1.1 (Sep 12, 2013)

  • Added dxSetVolumeScale action to allow switching between the default Linear and a Logarithmic volume scale. Use the logarithmic scale to insure that adjustments made with dxSetVolume are constant across the entire output range. For example, using the logarithmic scale, a volume setting of 500 would be approximately 50% of full volume (1000).
  • Improved timing and smoothness of dxFadeIn and dxFadeOut actions.
  • Fixed problem that caused videos to display a black flash just prior to appearing on screen.
  • It is now possible to attach a media player to a non-visible rectangle object. For example, a rectangle that's on a page other than the current one. Attempting this with previous versions of NeoBookDX would sometimes result in an "invalid window handle" error message.
  • Fixed a problem with dxPlaySoundFile and dxPlayVideoFile that sometimes failed to free all of the allocated memory.
  • Markers now work correctly when playback starts in the middle of a file.
  • It is now possible to set a marker at the beginning of a file - position zero.
  • And several other minor improvements and fixes.
