Feb 5, 2009
  • ADD: Added Quick Add and Quick Edit functions which allow to create a new subtitle or edit an existing one with timings based on the time the button is pressed and released. Allows for easy acoustic synchronization.
  • ADD: Added Edit functionality on the bottom of the window, which allows the user to quickly change the Show, Hide, Duration, Text, isBold and isItalic attributes of the subtitle.
  • ADD: Most commonly used subtitle editing functions in the Edit menu now have keyboard shortcuts.
  • ADD: Added Unknown Format window which asks the user to pick the format and encoding themselves in case the program couldn't guess them.
  • ADD: Program displays a warning regarding codecs on first run.
  • ADD: The Inteface Translator doesn't require you to have the source installed, as it can load the Languages folder now too.
  • ENH: When an incomplete translation is loaded, all missing lines are reported in the Debug tab.
  • ENH: Improved Interface Translator to inform the user whether the currently loaded Translation file is complete or not, and to quickly select the first missing line.
  • ENH: Improved many aspects of the subtitle editing, mainly in regards to timing checks. In most cases the program will not allow the show timing to be later than the hide timing.
  • ENH: Now can succesfully read and write subtitle files saved in the most commonly used Unicode encodings (UTF8, Unicode Little Endian, Unicode Big Endian), as well as the system's default encoding for non-Unicode files.
  • ENH: Debug window is now a tab in the Main window, making the program fully accessible in common ...x768 resolutions.
  • BUG: The English language file is not loaded twice anymore after an incomplete translation is loaded.
  • BUG: Interface Translator would crash when clicking Cancel on the Save Translation prompt.
  • BUG: Unexpected behaviour of X button on the Main Window after the Debug Window had been shown eliminated.
  • BUG: Program now works in systems where the Regional Settings have a decimal separator other than ",".
  • BUG: Fixed a bug introduced in 0.1.1 that caused the application not being able to exit after the Debug window had been shown.
  • FIX: Fixed size of controls to fit new translations.
  • OTH: Interface is no longer resizable. Will look into adding such functionality in the future, but for now it's not a priority. The program can be used in resolutions from 1024x768 and over.
  • OTH: English language file now includes indication of where the translator can put their name to get proper credit.
  • OTH: The interface has been revamped to not use the Remote Control form anymore but to rather have the controls on the main form. Scroll bars have been added and can be used to adjust the video position and volume.
  • OTH: Other minor fixes.
