- Provides an advanced user interface. Files can be converted to PDFs from within PDF Sign&Seal. A blank PDF document can be created.
- Blank signature fields are no longer saved immediately to the PDF file, now they are only saved when the Save button is clicked or a digital signature is created. The Drag&Sign function has been enhanced to allow re-sizing of the final appearance. The signature appearance designer has also been improved and a new ISO8601 date format is available YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss ZONE.
- PDF Sign&Seal now supports integration with Ascertia Docs. Users can upload and share their PDF documents with others to have them review, approve and sign documents.
- PDF forms can now be designed using text fields, checkboxes, radio buttons, list, combo boxes and submit buttons as well as signature fields.
- PDF documents can be viewed in full screen mode.
- PDF/A font checking has been added to all signing fields, text fields and stamps to detect if a new font needs to be embedded or not. This clever feature ensures that PDF/A output files are not bloated with multiple copies of the same font.
- A plugin for Office 2007/2010 is included that provides a toolbar option to enables PDF create, sign, seal, sign & seal, email and open operations. Saved signature field locations can also be added.
- SHA-2 algorithms are now supported for signature generation and verification.
- User interactions have been improved including file management, installer messages, error messages, error handling and on-line upgrade
- Further improvements to the PDF Sign&Seal launch time.
- Implemented scaling of stamps ensuring they remain smooth.
- Opened documents are now automatically zoomed to fit the available page width.
- Focus is now retained on the current page after adding comments, stamps and other annotations.
- The “save-as” operation now by default uses the source folder, unless a separate default folder has already been configured.
