What's new in PloComp 11.01

  • Fixed the problem that the paper size of the PDF file output by automatic paper selection is slightly deviated from the standard size when the standard size paper is selected for PDF output.
  • When the left, right, top, and bottom drawing positions of various outputs are set again in one of the outputs, they are reflected in the other outputs.
  • However, when the output device for plotter/printer output is switched to HPGL Plotter, the drawing position is automatically set to the lower left. There is a possibility that other output may be performed without noticing the automatic switching.
  • Therefore, after outputting to HPGL Plotter, the drawing position is automatically restored.

  • Compatible with Windows 11.
  • Code signing was added.
  • By attaching a code sign, the software distribution source is authenticated, and it is guaranteed that spoofing and content tampering has not been performed. Recently, Windows and security check software have tightened security checks, and there are increasing cases of false recognition even tough there is no virus. Code signing may reduce false positives.

New in PloComp 10.13 (Dec 30, 2021)

  • When "Atypical" was selected for "Paper name" in various outputs, the initial values of "Atypical width" and "Atypical height" were 298 mm and 210 mm at the first output after starting PloComp.
  • The values of "Atypical width" and "Atypical height" were stored at the end of PloComp, and when PloComp was restarted, it was set to the value set at the previous output.

New in PloComp 10.12 (Apr 8, 2021)

  • The drawing origin set in the "Open file" Dialog or the "Drawing origin setting" Dialog has been rounded to 0.025mm even if it is specified in 0.001 mm units.
  • This was improved so that it would be in units of 0.001 mm without rounding.

  • A mode was added to set HPGL Pen No. to IGES layer No. in IGES output.

New in PloComp 10.10 (Jan 23, 2019)

  • The following functions were upgraded by drastically updating the PDF reading module.
  • Traditionally, when reading PDF files edited with PDF editing tools such as Acrobat, edited figures were not displayed. We made it to display.
  • Text reading processing was adjusted.
  • The clipping process was adjusted.
  • Processing speed has been greatly improved when multiple file conversion processing is performed at once for the automatic output special specification version.
  • It is realized by newly preparing the next command line.
  • PloComp.exe /z "batch file name"
  • The batch file is a file conversion process of one line at a time, describing the conventional command line parameters, and this is described in plural lines.
  • Conventionally, when a file is opened with a single color, all the figures including the figure drawn by the background color are drawn in a single color.
  • This time, figures drawn by background color are improved to draw with background color.
  • When character width or character height is minus in reading EMF file, it was not displayed with mirror-on.
  • We tried to display with mirror-on.
  • When arrange display is set and comment is selected and the comment attribute display menu is selected, the problem that nothing is displayed is fixed.
  • Fixed an error that caused automatic scale correction of PDF file setting by selecting set - input file menu.
  • Set "Displays in arranges" in the "Set - Display ON/OFF" menu.
  • Then, open the file of multiple pages.
  • Next, open a file of multiple pages with one Window maximized.
  • A system error occurred. We fixed this obstacle.
  • When opening a file with edit ON, the window in the surface was changed from filling to alternate filling.
  • At the time of EMF output, the character width sometimes became abnormal depending on the situation. We fixed this.
  • When the origin of Bitmap data is outside the drawing area, the position of the Bitmap is displayed displaced at Plotter output. We fixed this.
  • We modified the garbled character by conditions in HPGL file output.
  • An error occurred when the width of the drawing size or the height was zero in the image file output. We fixed this.
  • In DXF, DWG output, polyline error sometimes occurred. We fixed this.

New in PloComp 10.08 (Oct 23, 2018)

  • The following Text comparison mode was added by Request-ChangArea.
  • Image (convert string to image and compare)
  • 1 string (compare row by row)
  • 1 character (compare 1 character by 1 character)
  • PloComp displays the string so that the width of the string becomes the following width.
  • String width = (character width + character spacing) × number of characters - character spacing
  • If you set the variable character width font in the Set-Text Menu, for example, the letter "I" has a narrow character width and the letter "W" is wider.
  • Kanji of HPGL specification is to switch to kanji mode and to use JIS code by LB (Label) command. However, there is data that uses ShiftJIS code in the case of not switching to Kanji mode (1 Byte mode).
  • Therefore, even in such a case, we improved to display Kanji.
  • When Text size correction was set to something other than 100% with Set-Text, it did not work correction value or position of Text. We improved this.
  • If Text is on the boundary of the drawing size, influence the drawing area. Conventionally, when "Text size correction" is set to a value other than 100% in Set-Text, when opening a file, Text area was calculated with standard size. This was changed to the corrected size.
  • In case of combination of DV (horizontal writing, vertical writing character) instruction and LO (designation of left alignment, right alignment, centering of character string) instruction, there was a
  • case where character misalignment occurred. We fixed this.
  • Check "Edit" in File Open Dialog and open it and display File Open Dialog again, * mark on the layer with comment data did not mark. We fixed it to be attached.
  • When the Slant angle of Text was other than 0 degree in PDF output, it displayed abnormally. We fixed this.
  • Fixed a problem that caused a system error if the file extension was not registered when specifying the file name to be opened on the command line.

  • special specification
  • When selecting the automatic paper selection for various kinds of output and the drawing size of the opened file coincides with the standard paper size, the one larger size was selected. We fixed this.
  • Some menu shortcut keys did not work. We fixed this.
  • When inputs DXF file, clockwise circular data was skipped.
  • We fixed this.
  • It was not corresponded with DXF file input when Text width and Text space were minus (mirror display). Corresponding to this.
  • Text size at PDF input was adjusted.

New in PloComp 10.07 (Mar 27, 2018)

  • The paper standard (ISO A0-A4, ISO B0-B5, JIS B0-B5, ANSI A-E, ARCH A-E,E1) can be set by specifying the paper size of the printer, PDF, TIFF, Bitmap, JPEG, GIF, PNG, PCX, FPX output Dailog.
  • At "File" - "Create new comment" command, or "Set" - "Comment draw area" command, drawing size can be selected from next paper standard paper size. ISO A0-A4, ISO B0-B5, JIS B0-B5, ANSI A-E, ARCH A-E,E1.
  • In the case of automatic paper selection with printer output, when the output drawing size exceeds the maximum paper size that can beselected, the largest paper is selected and the output scale is automatically adjusted so that the drawing size matches the paper size.
  • When selecting automatic paper for output (PDF, TIFF, Bitmap, JPEG, GIF, PNG, PCX, FPX), change the smallest paper selection order as follows. Conventional: A4 landscape → A4 portrait → A3 landscape → A3 portrait. New: A4 portrait → A4 landscape → A3 landscape → A3 portrait.
  • The paper size was displayed in the preview window toolbar when previewing with printer output.
  • By double clicking the status bar of the main window, XY coordinates of HPGL unit (0.025 mm is 1 HPGL unit) are displayed in addition to ordinary XY coordinates.
  • Opening a number of drawings with different drawing sizes with "Displays in arranges" and previewing the printer output revised the abnormal display.
  • Fixed the problem that character position shifted under extremely rare conditions. Condition: When characters are drawn with multiple LB (label command) without pen movement instruction after LO (label origin command) other than initial value
  • Under the following conditions, we corrected the fault that black and white color selection was displayed incorrectly. Set to black and white: Data that draws figures while changing colors with PC (pen color designation) command
  • Fixed an obstacle in which filled figures are not displayed with EMF output.
  • When multiple drawings were opened with "Displays in arranges" and previewed with HPGL plotter output, the size of the first drawing became all the sizes, and when the second and subsequent drawings were large, it was clipped.
  • When the special output version of PloComp of automatic output is activated on the command line and the output type changes, the problem that the output condition becomes indefinite unless the same output is made in the dialog mode beforehand was fixed.

New in PloComp 10.06 (Feb 20, 2017)

  • At the time of comment input, function in which it can input after displaying comment property set Dialog and setting property was added.
  • ON/OFF of this function can be performed by comment property set Dialog.
  • It enabled it to issue display command by key while comment input.

  • Ver.10.05 November 24, 2016:
  • When PDF output of plural files is carried out in the state of "Displays in piles", the attribute of layer will enter into PDF file. When viewing with PDF viewer, ON/OFF of display in layer unit enables.
  • File number of PloComp turns into layer number in PDF file.
  • With PDF output, "Add PDF note annotation on comment cloud mark closed loop" function was added.
  • Attach PDF note annotation on change area automatically by this function, and when keying change report into the PDF note annotation with PDF viewer, use it.
  • Ver.10.05 November 29, 2016:
  • It enabled it to also choose blank although annotation added by "Add PDF note annotation on comment cloud mark closed loop" function of PDF output was consecutive numbers.
  • Ver.10.05 December 20, 2016:
  • When Bitmap was in Macro of comment, other figures were displayed under Bitmap and had disappeared. This was improved so that other figures might be displayed on Bitmap.
  • When Macro input of comment was carried out after carrying out various setup, setup after change was not being reflected. This was repaired.
  • It was made to reflect "Ignore PC command" of SetPen in Macro input of comment.
  • When output drawing size is larger than paper size by preview of Printer-Plotter output, drawing of the right,left,upper and lower position was abnormal. This was repaired.
  • Ver.10.05 December 23, 2016:
  • File of only comment data was opened, and when the number of plotter units set except 40 and carried out HPGL Plotter output, it repaired that output HPGL data became abnormal.
  • Ver.10.05 January 3, 2017:
  • PayPal fee about licensing fee remittance which user had paid was eliminated.
  • Ver.10.05 January 9, 2017:
  • When evaluation period goes out, or when uninstalling, function which fills in evaluation result and carries out e mail transmission was added.

New in PloComp 10.04 (Aug 13, 2015)

  • SXF output functions were added.
  • Defect of SXF input was repaired.
  • With DXF output, when there existed image, it repaired abnormal having outputted.
  • Text of Vector font repaired fault which becomes dotted line and chained line sometimes with DXF and IGES output.

New in PloComp 10.03 (Jul 20, 2015)

  • It supported to input of SXF file (file extension is P21 and SFC).
  • Request Input file attribute menu was added.
  • Undefined D code information can be confirmed about GERBER file.
  • Undefined T code information can be confirmed about NC-Drill file.
  • It supported to AC (hatching starting point) command of HPGL.
  • It corresponded to hatching of dotted line and chained line with DXF output of GX-5.

  • Comment function was greatly improved just like 2D-CAD.
  • It corresponded to input and output of DWG file.

New in PloComp 9.03 (May 5, 2014)

  • Range corresponding to Windows Font was extended.
  • Support simplified Chinese character, the traditional Chinese character,

  • Support mirror display of TrueType Font with Printer and Plotter output.
  • Display of character with negative width and height(mirror display) which uses Windows Font was repaired.
  • When 1 byte and 2 byte character were intermingled by character input of comment, it repaired having displayed abnormal character.
  • File extension of Plotter output was changed into ".hgl".

New in PloComp 9.02 (Nov 13, 2013)

  • Since arc was displayed as G74 (quadrant ON) when GERBER file without data of G75 (quadrant OFF) is read, abnormal arc was drawn. Then, it could be made to perform setup of G74 (quadrant ON) ON/OFF in Set-Input file.
  • Garbled characters of warning dialog (title and button) have been improved.

New in PloComp 9.01 (Nov 13, 2013)

  • The next function was added with HPGL plotter output:
  • Add button into which plotter parameter file is edited.
  • It enabled it to select specification of output HPGL data from the next
  • three kinds by plotter parameter file.
  • HPGL : Simple functional vector
  • HPGL/2 : Highly functional vector
  • HPGL/2+HP RTL: Highly functional vector + image
  • Five kinds of Text size candidates were prepared by comment attribution setup.
  • If Text size used well beforehand is registered into candidate, Text height, width, and space can be collectively set up only by selecting from candidate.
  • Defect was repaired.
  • Output of images, such as TIFF, JPEG, and BitMap of big size (for example, double size of A0, black and white, 400DPI), repaired defect to which scale becomes smaller than designation.
  • It repaired abnormal, when GERBER file that starting point and terminal point of arc correspond was read.
  • The number of constituting points which can smear away surface was increased.

New in PloComp 9.00 (Nov 13, 2013)

  • It supported to reading of two-dimensional DXF file (version is AC1025 and equivalent to 2000/2000i/2002 in AutoCAD version).
  • It supported to reading of GERBER file.
  • It supported to reading of NC-drill.
  • It supported to reading of two-dimensional IGES file.
  • In addition to AutoCAD version GX-5 conventional correspondence, DXF file output could newly be made to perform 2002 correspondences.
  • In addition to conventional Bitmap, TIFF, and Jpeg, image output supported to GIF, PNG, PCX, and FPX.
  • Coordinates accuracy of internal processing was raised from 0.025 mm to 0.001 mm or less.
  • Coordinates when it requests, and the minimum unit of length were 0.001 mm from 0.01 mm.
  • It was made to set up input file relations with set input file menu. It enabled it to set up file extension for every file type.
  • Extension set up here is displayed on "kind of file" of OpenFile dialog.
  • In the past, since file type and file extension's relation were unknown, this is improvable although there was case where file which PloComp is not supporting was selected and PloComp hung-up.
  • Designation of extension which can be searched with set thumbnail was stopped, and all the extensions registered by set input file were used as extension searched with thumbnail.
  • Pen number was displayed by dimension measurement between request lines.
  • Since various output parameters were common, output scale set up with other outputs was used, and it may have outputted with unexpected scale. Then, automatic scale and output scale memorized setup for every output.
  • Width of string to display was adjusted so that it might become width specified by data.
  • It supported to Windows8.
  • "Multi-file auto select" check box was prepared in OpenFile dialog.
  • If this is checked, it is only selecting one file and can select automatically simultaneously plural files with name of conditions shown below. Number of file name end becomes file number.
  • - It exists in the same folder as selected file.
  • - It is the same file extension as selected file.
  • - File name leading character string of selected file is the same as it, and ends of file name is numbers 1-15.
  • (15) Licensing fee was changed by change of exchange rate.
  • The conventional "Momentary display" was changed into "Momentary display 1" for display type with the "set "-" pen" menu, and "Momentary display 2" was newly added.
  • With PDF output, smearing away of mesh was carried out to coating whose shade level is 100%. It was light-color-ized according to shade level.

New in PloComp 8.091 (Nov 13, 2013)

  • When having set up Correct Rate of Text Size by SetText other than 100%, it corrected that character position of continuous LB (label) command had shifted.
  • It corrected so that the following character when CS (standard character set) command is set might be displayed correctly.
  • CS3 '[' ==> '0'
  • CS4 '\' ==> 'i'
  • It enabled it to set PS (plot size) command initial value to option setting tab of OpenFile dialog.
  • In the case of HPGL file in which PS command and IP (scaling point P1, P2 input) command are not included, SR (relative character size) command etc. which affect scaling point can be controlled now.

  • With IGES output, when input and output file name were 60 or more characters, IGES data corrected fault which becomes abnormal.
  • In HPGL input, 1-byte katakana of the character set 43 of SD command and AD command was supported.
  • When C/R and L/F were in 1 byte of katakana character by LB command, it repaired having displayed abnormal character.
  • Function which transmits evaluation report by E-Mail was deleted.

New in PloComp 8.09 (Nov 13, 2013)

  • Optional feature of "Display procedure" (Momentary display/Sequentially display) was appended in SetPen dialog. Displaying speed changes with "Display procedure" and combination of personal computer hardware, OS kind, DrawMode, and drawing data. In Vista and 7, if it is not made Momentary display, displaying will become quite slow.
  • The composition of an installer was changed.
  • It becomes error to read the file which carried out the PDF output by Adobe Reader when the decimal point character of the real number is set as "," with the control panel of Windows. It was repaired.
  • It supported to DL (download character) command.
  • Displaying improvement of color image.
  • Magnification of drawing size in which color image output enables.

  • After turning OFF "Display comment Tool" with "Comment-Display comment Tool" menu and ending PloComp, it repaired terminate abnormally, if PloComp is started next.
  • It repaired that there were conditions that cooperation of "Comment-Display comment Tool" and "Comment-Dsiolay comment" menu was strange.
  • Operation on Windows7 was guaranteed.
  • It supported to UL user line type command.
  • Some bugs were repaired.
  • Some bugs were repaired.
  • EMF file output and click board copy were repaired.
  • The maximum number of pen number translation table was increased from 5 to 20.
  • The maximum number of line connection check was increased from 20 to 200.

  • The icon for WMF, PS, EPS, SVG, XPS, and PCL output was prepared for main window lower left.
  • When PDF and an EMF file read, it had not supported to clipping of complicated shape. It supported now.
