- New to version 2.3 is a change in functionality whereby the program's options settings are saved in an .ini file that is created in the same path as the program .exe.
- New to version 2.2 of FSHED are a context menu for quick access to Edit Menu functions (right click anywhere in a the file display) and "Get Unicode Text..." and "Translate from UTF-8" functions (Edit Menu or Context Menu) that convert the highlighted material and copy to the windows clipboard (after prompting).
