  • File Migration: The new installer will prompt you for the install folder as always, but will also prompt for the application data folder. You can accept the (Windows standard) defaults or create your own if you would like to store Qimage data such as printer setups, job log, thumbnails, and other data on a different drive or folder. Existing users please note: the first time you run v2009.250, your existing Qimage settings and thumbnails will be migrated to the new application data location. Files are copied from your previous Qimage version to the v2009.250 data folder and nothing is deleted, so you can always go back and use the old version seamlessly if needed.
  • Menu Cheater: Ever wish you didn't have to drill down into a menu to activate a feature? Now you can click the menu cheater button on the top of the Qimage window (or press F10) and all commonly used features are just one click away!
  • Albums: Available only in the Studio Edition, albums offer a way for users to group/manage photos. Need to create a collection of your favorite flower photos? Just create a new album called "Favorite Flowers" and start adding photos from various folders. When you open the album, all the photos will show up in the thumbnails at once, even when they are from different folders or even different drives!   • Freehand: Ability to insert a page when in freehand placement mode: go to a page, right click, and select "Insert Page". Then immediately drag thumbnail(s) to the inserted blank page.
  • Printer setups: Qimage now automatically detects when you update your print driver and warns you if a particular saved printer setup is using data from an old driver.
  • Admin/non-admin installs: Qimage automatically warns/instructs the user if the software was used under an administrator account and the current non-admin user doesn't have the proper privileges to run the software.
  • Fixes:
  • Email date/time: Fixed the email date/time so that emails sent from Qimage show the proper time based on time zone.
  • Under the hood: Fixed some minor user interface glitches and made usability improvements to some functions.
