- New Features:
- Windows 7 support (32-bit version)
- Preview pane (only available for Windows 7 and Vista users.) When the preview pane in Windows Explorer is active and a user clicks on a file, Quick View Plus will be embedded in the preview pane with a view of the file.
- Ability to lockdown Quick View Plus so only a view window is available. Network version only.
- Direct viewing of attachments in Outlook 2007. The view will be embedded in the message pane of Outlook.
- GMT option. Provides ability to control whether dates appear in Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) or in the user’s time zone. When the option is selected, all dates stored as numeric values in files will be displayed based on the user’s local time zone. It will not affect any dates stored as text. This option will be on by default.
- Page scroll buttons on the vertical scroll bar for word processing documents and vector formats.
- Enhanced Features:
- Updated MIME content types. Quick View Plus will now support Microsoft Outlook (.MSG), Microsoft Express E-mail (.EML) and TIFFs (.TIFF and .TIF).
- E-mail header view (The e-mail header is displayed at the top in grey and is separated from the body of the message by a line. The To: and CC: fields are expandable and collapsible by clicking on a plus or minus sign respectively.) Only available in draft and normal view modes within Quick View Plus.
