- Added language file version to list when changing languages
- Added Options form on the About page to set the language, change the application skin (NEW), set the data verification method (NEW), and set the application login password (NEW)
- Added button to launch local copy of TrueCrypt
- Created RCPwdTool executable to be able to reset a master application password outside of RoboCrypt
- Created RCHashTool executable to be able to compare file hashes for a specified source and destination file.
- Added –apppwd command-line switch to allow for the encrypted application password to be saved in an autorun icon o Added selection to custom shortcut creation window o If a one-time backup is selected and an application password is set, then the user will need to login before the one-time backup will continue
- Added –verify command-line switch to allow for data verification after a backup is run in auto mode o If a one-time backup is selected, verification will be run automatically
- Added ability to save volume GUID to match the user’s view of a saved TC file. If a file is specified, the matching volume GUID will be saved as well. If the drive letter changes of the backup drive, RoboCrypt will attempt to look for the GUID to mount the volume and continue if successful. This is to help with USB devices whose drive letter can change if other devices are present and using the original drive letter.
- Redesigned Custom Shortcut form, changed ‘Icon’ to ‘Shortcut’ and condensed objects to fit on screens
- Fixed issues with reporting mounted TrueCrypt file/device total size, free space, and estimated backup size to be more precise (eg. 142 MB now may look like 142.43 MB)
- Fixed issue with exceeding data backup to smaller backup file not prompting user to continue
- Other minor bug fixes

New in RoboCrypt 1.5 (Jan 23, 2014)
- Many bug fixes, some of them critical dealing with VSS backups, data set file/folder exclusions, etc.
- Windows 8.1 support, pre and post-process execution functionality, manual file/date modification, forced TrueCrypt volume dismounting before backups, email summary attachment size limit and server timeout values, better encryption for saves usernames and passwords, and multiple recipients for backup summary emails added.
New in RoboCrypt 1.2 (Jul 16, 2013)
- Added check at application start to determine if the application is being run as an Administrator. If not, a warning will be shown to the user.
- Added ability to attach a copied/removed file log to the summary email that is sent out. This log file extracts copied and removed file names from the final backup log and is attached as a standard text file (.txt) to an email.
- Added (-attachlog) command-line argument that can be used in conjunction with (-sendemail) to specify attaching the log file via an autorun icon. Other minor bug fixes.
New in RoboCrypt 1.1 (Jun 15, 2013)
- Added RC-Changelog.txt file to show changes in versions. L
- inks to RC-Changelog.txt and RC-KnownIssues.txt are created in the application menu folder when using the installer.
- RoboCrypt now has multilingual capability by using individual language files (.rlf). English.rlf is included and other translations can be stored for all buttons, labels, and messages.
- You can create custom autorun icons that will be saved on the Windows desktop. Other minor bug fixes.
