  • From this version, SB uses DirectShow instead of VFW for file preview purposes.
  • Now nearly all kinds of AVI files can be opened in SB, the navigation is better.
  • An AVS and WMV files can be opened as well.
  • It requires DirectX 8 or higher to be installed.
  • Added Avisynth 2.54 support.
  • Added ProCoder 1.5 support (It's not needed create any wrapper now).
  • Added automatic d2v project file creation using DVD2AVIdg.
  • SVCDbuilder can work now with different mpeg2dec decoders, it will search for dlls in the system folder in following order mpeg2dec3dg.dll mpeg2dec3.dll mpeg2dec.dll and use the first found.
  • Added a new "Preview" page:
  • It allows to preview the AVS file just like it will be seen on TV, change the script options, edit the script and immediately see the result.
  • Added "Create chapters every"...(time interval) feature -allows creating equidistant chapters.
  • Added an ability to associate files with SVCDbuilder.
  • Added an ability to use an external audio file of the following types: wav, dts, ac3, mp3, mp2.
  • Added an ability to encode audio independently using CCE or TMPGEnc encoders.
  • Added an option to set the desired project directory. The d2v, spr, log, xml, lst, chapters.txt files and the subtitles will be stored in this directory. The subfolder for the current project can be created automatically too.
  • Added PAL->NTSC and NTSC->PAL conversion options.
  • The program bundle is updated. It now goes with an installer.
  • The detailed User's Guide is written (chm format)..
  • Fixed bugs in subtitle creation.
  • Improved the CCE handling, added self-testing messages to the log file.
  • Few less important changes and bug fixes.
