- New payment process:
- Sysme Pos changes completely the method of registering payments. This new procedure allows:
- Collect the amount of a receipt or invoice with multiple payments
- Save the amounts delivered by the customer and the amounts returned
- Collect amounts before finishing sales
- The operation of this new process is simple, when user ends a sale with ticket / invoice Sysme Pos launches the payments module that:
- Notify the user to charge the full amount of the sale (eg 20 $)
- The user simply enters the amount delivered by the customer (eg 50 $)
- Sysme Pos offers a refund (with the example above .. 30 €)
- The above steps will be repeated automatically until the sums of the amounts delivered / returned match the total amount of the sale so receipt can not be completed until payment is complete.
- For regular invoices, the Sysme Pos will allow partial payment so a invoice can be delivered even if the payment remains an outstanding amount, the invoice will be marked as unpaid and user can relaunch the payment process while the amounts do not match. This is a great utility for deferred payments.
- More reports and more information on existing ones
- Sysme Tpv includes several new sales reports:
- By customers
- By Places, which can be broken down by country, state and town
- By manufacturers
- Both these new reports and existing ones include new values about the costs and profits . The cost information is calculated based on the cost of the product at the time of sale so user can maintain reliable information if the real cost in case of variations.
- Note that the sales report by payment has suffered a change as new payent process described above allows deferred payment of bills, this report displays information based on dates and times of payment, not of the date of invoice.
- More improvements
- The previous sections represent the most important changes of Sysme Pos , but logically there are some more, as always, based on the expectations of users and their requirements, I added other small improvements and corrections.
New in SYSME POS 4.46 (Oct 3, 2013)
- Sales stats:
- With this update, Sysme Pos 4.46 allows with a simple checkbox to decide whether the selected dates and times are linked or not, so user can obtain the data was looking for.
- Catalog module improvements:
- Again it is included a performance improvement in the catalog module to make it more fluid, this change affects the pictures again, although still stored in the database , they do so in exclusive tables so that no impair the performance of the program in searches and filters.
- Product searches improved:
- new filters and criteria were added in order to find the products users are looking for when they are in front of point of sale.
- Now you can search by IDs, aditional IDs, barcode, name, category, color, size ..etc.
- Billing multiple pending sales:
- Included a new function to issue an invoice containing multiple sales still to be finalized. The invoice will be disaggregated by sale and date of each service.
- Finding customers:
- It was improved the customer search option by adding new criteria as a second phone , province, type of customer.
New in SYSME POS 4.45 (Aug 27, 2013)
- Massive price change
- Sysme Pos 4.45 allows you increase and decrease (in amount or percentage) product prices with a bulk process to all products of the database or to a search result.
- Improved search and statistics by category
- Several versions ago, we added to Sysme Pos the possibility of linking products to different categories (apart from its parent category). Now, we have added the functionality that those additional categories related to products are taken into account when obtaining sales statistics or search results.
- Improved import / update module from CSV files
- In the import / update products from CSV files module we have added the possibility to the user to choose the key field used to link products between file and database.
- In prior versions Sysme Pos only offered the posibility to link the “product ID” field. Now user can link from “aditional ID” field (often used to store supplier ID) or “barcode” field.
- In this update of the module Sysme Pos also offers the user the opportunity to decide whether, in case of not finding tied product, this should be created or not.
- Corrections
- And as always, some fixes could not miss:
- We fixed the tab order in the customer records that after the last update had been messy and so difficult to work with the keyboard.
- We removed the automatic process that assigned value to the field “alias” of products that the user should decide whether or not to use aliases.
