What's new in Saturn Disk Image Creator 1.4.2.0

Mar 1, 2010
  • The Saturn Disk Explorer program is entirely new. It provides functionality to view the contents of disk images as files and folders, look at the metadata stored in the volume descriptors, such as the publisher information, and see the contents of the disk image as a block map.
  • And finally: an installation program! Saturn is now installed like any other Windows program. (The saturn-bin.zip file is still there for users of other platforms, and for those wishing the simplest possible install.)

  • Automatic shortening of long paths for Joliet disk images.
  • GUI responsiveness improved; now a progress window is displayed when a disk image is being written.
