  • For some time we have been using Equipment and Contacts, and customising the labels to suit our needs. Many have asked for additional tabs for Clients, Customers, Training Courses, Machines, and many more. Its obviously not possible to keep adding more and more tabs and new database tables. It was also confusion to create a Resource, only to have to link to it a Contact with the resources contact details if the Resource was a person, why cant the Resource hold all the details depending on what you want it to be? So we decided to remove the Equipment and Contacts in there current form.
  • New Groups and Resources have fields that can be customised then you can add a group for any category, e.g. Equipment, Contacts, Clients, Customers, Training Courses, Machines, all of which can be linked to a single event, and each group with customised field names. The methods for selecting a Group and Resource in the Event window has been increased and made easier for those that may have thousands of Resources, so the Resource list can be filtered, or bypassed and a selection done using a search.
