New in Secure Delete 2314 (Jun 24, 2023)
- Our app will no longer collect technical information about your computer. Previously, according our privacy policy, we may collect some anonymous technical data, but now - not. All API which were related to data collection were removed from the app starting this release.
- Please note that personal information was never collected and will never be collected.
- The information about we are talking now related to computer only, like how many processors you have or what is the screen resolution of your display. This information cannot be used to personally identify you, it's anonymous and completely technical. It helps us to create better software for you when we know what type of hardware our users have.

- We made some improvements that related to the app's core security. And, as usual, we can't provide any additional details on that because all these changes related to security. If a change will be explained, what is the level of security then?
New in Secure Delete 2211 (Nov 8, 2022)
- Fixed "overflow" app crash. Some of our users noticed that our app crashed in some situations when you are trying to delete many files at once. The error text says "overflow". This error has been fixed. Please accept our apologies!

- Even software needs some cleanup few times a year. In this release we are improving some of the code of our app. We will use new and modern techniques which were implemented by our vendors and provided to us recently.

- Removed reminder which offers you support our apps by posting links in social media. This wasn't popular at all, so we have decided not to disturb you with that.
New in Secure Delete 2021.04 (Jul 11, 2021)
- This update includes several system changes that will affect stability and security. Some of changes will improve look and style.
- Added new versioning policy: from now on version number will start with two digits - year of release, and two next digits will mean build number. The dot will be removed (but will remain in technical information).
- Improved user interface of several system screens.
- Improved uninstaller module: it was signed by code signing certificate to prevent security issues. Previously, unsigned executable could rise warning message in your antivirus, but this is now resolved.
- Fixed issue with the blinking menu icon. It should and it will blink, but will not crash anymore.
New in Secure Delete 2021.03 (May 5, 2021)
- One more great update with a completely new function (which is available for free for everyone) and few other great small improvements. Here they are:
- Added new free function - remember window position. We found it's very convenient when the app remembers it's location from the previous run and don't center itself on the screen automatically. Try it, you will like it too!
- Added Hungarian translation.
- Fixed bug that crashes our app when list enumerator has been modified.
- Fixed bug that shows incorrect information about Professional license on the activation screen.
- Removed code that was potentially conflicting with the default antivirus.

- Meet new design! In a new year all our apps will be re-designed with a new interface. It looks similar to previous design, but greatly improved. Happy New Year!
- NEW FEATURES AND IMPROVEMENTS:
- Improved design, now look and style of 2021.
- Added new function to search for software updates manually. At any time, as you wish. You can access this option from the menu which is available under icon at the top right corner of an app's window. Note that automatic updates also enabled, thus there is no need to use this new option until you want it "right here, right now"...
- Added Dutch translation of the user interface (partial), big thanks to our volunteer Peter Medemblik.
- BUG FIXES:
- Removed almost 4K of programming codes that were useless. This will improve perfomance and reduce software conflicts.
- Fixed bug that displays wrong version number in "About" window.
- Removed encryption module; it was never used (less code - less bugs).
- Removed statistics function, less information will be processed.
