What's new in SightReader Master 2.0

  • 4, 5 and 6 string Bass guitar has been added!
  • transposing instruments such as trumpet (Bb and A), soprano, alto and tenor sax are added
  • other instruments - violin, cello and flute are also added (indeed you can use the fretboard to select whatever range your instrument would play in.
  • 3/4 time signature has been added. this also covers 6/8.
  • Chord chart reading has been added. You can specify how often the chords come - and you can choose exactly what chords will come your way! Great for Learning to play chord melodies, change running and digital patterns!
  • Slash rhythms are added - learn to sightread strumming patterns (you'll get these if you plan to work as a guitarist) - or just clap along to improve your rhythm reading!
  • A "Look-Ahead Curtain" trains you to always be looking one bar ahead!
  • The metronome has a scroll bar above it for mouse operated changing of the tempo.
  • The selecting of frets is now done by pull-down menus.
  • The chords can be either viewed as conventional or nomenclature (go tothat page and have a look around - you'll see what I mean!)
