  • An offer to save prompt is non blocking (non-modal dialog). (pat. pending)
  • During and after submitting a sign-in form, users can examine the confirmation page and only then,
  • decide whether they want to save the captured sign-in (or sign-up) credentials.
  • Captures multiple sign-in related pages and combines them into a single saved record.
  • Performs automated fill & submit script on multiple pages, one after another.
  • Responds with correct actions even if pages are presented with a different order from when data was originally captured.
  • It is possible to stop an automated sign-in script, midway.
  • When having multiple sign-in accounts per site, SignupShield can ignore other accounts once a user selects a particular account, thus avoiding unnecessary prompts to users during password change.
  • Users can exit a sign-in session from the SignupShield menu.
  • Per site options: It is possible to override global fill options on a per site basis. Thus for example, users can override auto-fill option for sites where then want to manually approve it.
  • Now supports Mozilla Firefox 3 too.
  • Dynamic attach (and detach) to Firefox. No need for Firefox Add-on.
  • No need to specify Firefox edition. Dynamic attach works with any open Firefox browser.
  • SignupShield enforces a policy where only dynamic attach is allowed with the U3 edition.
  • SignupShield toolbar for Firefox is dynamic, but, it uses Firefox look & feel.
  • Toolbar position can be set from 'Settings -- Password Manager'
  • Using SignupShield without a toolbar is now possible. Commands can be invoked from the system tray.
  • The SignupShield popup is gone from the toolbar. Instead, a menu is opened or a fill-in list is shown directly.

  • A site can save multiple saved records, or accounts, (as in version 4).
  • A record can save multiple pages, each containing multiple forms.
  • A record can save multiple security questions and answers specific to that record (account).
  • A page can save an associated automation script.
  • Per site options: It is possible to override global save options on a per site basis. Thus for example, users can override auto-save option for sites where then do not want to be bothered with 'save' popups.

  • It is possible to capture or define multiple security questions for the same account.
  • SignupShield will automatically fill-in the correct answer when user is presented with a security question web form related to a particular account.
