- An offer to save prompt is non blocking (non-modal dialog). (pat. pending)
- During and after submitting a sign-in form, users can examine the confirmation page and only then,
- decide whether they want to save the captured sign-in (or sign-up) credentials.
- Captures multiple sign-in related pages and combines them into a single saved record.
- Performs automated fill & submit script on multiple pages, one after another.
- Responds with correct actions even if pages are presented with a different order from when data was originally captured.
- It is possible to stop an automated sign-in script, midway.
- When having multiple sign-in accounts per site, SignupShield can ignore other accounts once a user selects a particular account, thus avoiding unnecessary prompts to users during password change.
- Users can exit a sign-in session from the SignupShield menu.
- Per site options: It is possible to override global fill options on a per site basis. Thus for example, users can override auto-fill option for sites where then want to manually approve it.
- Now supports Mozilla Firefox 3 too.
- Dynamic attach (and detach) to Firefox. No need for Firefox Add-on.
- No need to specify Firefox edition. Dynamic attach works with any open Firefox browser.
- SignupShield enforces a policy where only dynamic attach is allowed with the U3 edition.
- SignupShield toolbar for Firefox is dynamic, but, it uses Firefox look & feel.
- Toolbar position can be set from 'Settings -- Password Manager'
- Using SignupShield without a toolbar is now possible. Commands can be invoked from the system tray.
- The SignupShield popup is gone from the toolbar. Instead, a menu is opened or a fill-in list is shown directly.
- Saving a page is now 1 click away, directly on the toolbar.
- A random password or an alias email can be generated directly from the SignupShield menu.
- Saved Sites
- A site can save multiple saved records, or accounts, (as in version 4).
- A record can save multiple pages, each containing multiple forms.
- A record can save multiple security questions and answers specific to that record (account).
- A page can save an associated automation script.
- Per site options: It is possible to override global save options on a per site basis. Thus for example, users can override auto-save option for sites where then do not want to be bothered with 'save' popups.
- Multiple Security Questions (pat. pending)
- It is possible to capture or define multiple security questions for the same account.
