- Improvements and New Features:
- Improved connectors: You can now make more complex lines with your connectors, and change the style from curved to straight to 'squiggle'.
- Rich text. You can now change the style of a selection of text within a text block.
- Complex shapes: You can now build up a "complex" shape from a set of shapes, lines and images you select on your drawing board.
- Document properties: Size is now controlled at the document level, which makes it easier to resize all the diagrams in your document. You can also resize your document to fit your diagram (if you have more than one diagram tab, it will just pick the largest of your diagrams to resize to.)
- Color picker: We've added a color selector on top of the color picker so you can pick the exact color you want. Just click the little rainbow button on the color picker to.
- UI: The design of the control panel was tweaked so you can get more screen real estate when you hide the panel. We also tightened up the properties windows a bit. More UI refactoring will happen in the next version.
- Drag bar: You can now double-click the drag bar separating your diagram from the toolbars in order to show/hide the toolbars
- Multi-select: You can now use shift or ctrl with click to multiselect. This follows a convention I see in a lot of other graphical design programs.
- Fixed:
- The control panel no longer flashes when you first select an item.
- Bug in text align fixed.
- Fixed: Lock points showing on wrong diagram
- Ctrl-A now selects all text in a text field
- Lots and lots of little bugs. Thanks to all of you who sent in a bug report by using the bug report screen that pops up in the program when you experience an issue. You might think nothing comes of it but I promise you we use each report to help us find and resolve bugs.
