- The application did not read user-defined values correctly when such special characters as quote, double quote, ampersand, were involved.
- Preferences: The text box under the System tab points to the system folder used by the application instead of a file.
New in SimplePics 1.1.3 Beta (Dec 16, 2011)
- Some windows will appear and disappear gradually.
- The startup screen is disabled as it can cause an exception error.
- A few other minor changes are done.

- The Export format boxed under the Export tab of Preferences was no longer in use and is therefore removed.
- Preferences: Enabling the checkbox labeled Don't down down, the user has an option of not letting the application count down numbers till it takes a desktop screenshot.
- The application handles an error that it may encounter should it fail to read its file when it starts up.
- The user can now set the delay number with a track bar by clicking on the circled start button.
- A dozen other minor changes and fixed are done.
New in SimplePics 1.0.1 Beta (Nov 19, 2011)
- When the user clicks on Start, this button itself will become disabled until they either abort or finish the current task.
- The user can no longer maximize the window.
