  • Earlier today we released SmartCode VNC Manager version 1710. The 1710 part is not a typo. The version format has been moved to the new YYMM format. We have introduced a YYMM format to indicate the release date of each new version. For example, version 1710 was released to manufacturing in October 2017.
  • Support for Intel AMT v11:
  • SmartCode VNC Manager 1710 has gained the ability to power manage PCs via Intel AMT v11 protocol. Now you can reboot/shutdown/power cycle the PCs equipped with the latest version of Intel AMT engine.
  • The v1710 adds the ability to specify a certificate name when the TLS encryption is enabled.

  • Support WMI columns reordering
  • One of the unique features of SmartCode VNC Manager is the ability to define one or multiple WMI queries and show their results in the computers list. Prior to version 1710, WMI columns were always shown at the end of the standard columns list and it was not possible to change this position. SmartCode VNC Manager 1710 resolves this limitation. A WMI column can be customized and repositioned just as a standard column.
  • Note: If you add or remove a WMI property via the Tools Options command, the position of the existing WMI columns will be reset, and the columns will be moved to the end of the columns list. Future versions will address this limitation.
  • Columns customizations per Configuration Profile
  • Customization of computer list columns are now stored per the Configuration Profile. Each Configuration Profile can have its own unique set of standard and WMI columns. Custom columns are stored under %APPDATA%SmartCode SolutionsVNC Managersettingsgrid_regsrv_60-PROFILE-GUID.xml
