UDT 2020.2.5 is an Orion Platform product, and runs on Orion Platform 2020.2.5. See the Orion Platform 2020.2.5 Release Notes.

For information about installing User Device Tracker, see the SolarWinds Orion Installer.
How to upgrade:
Use the SolarWinds Orion Installer to upgrade your entire Orion deployment (all Orion Platform products and any scalability engines) to the current versions.
If you are upgrading from UDT 3.4, you can upgrade your entire Orion deployment from the My Orion Deployment page. Downloading the Orion Installer is no longer necessary.
If you are upgrading from an earlier version, use this topic to plan and implement an upgrade to the current version of UDT.

A security vulnerability that allows HTML encoding, even when the Enable HTML Encoding option on the Polling Settings view is not checked, has been fixed.
Improvements to topology polling correct numerous issues, including spikes in CPU usage observed on monitored devices.
An error in the way that polled results, specifically CPU load data, are processed for devices using Net-SNMP has been corrected.
The Polling Settings view now provides the option to designate a Default Assigned IP Address that is given to monitored nodes when DNS resolution fails.
Group member status now displays correctly on reports in the web console.
Dependencies now work as designed when either or both parent and child objects are groups. This issue was resulting in excessively delayed MSMQ processing.
SQL queries used to create selected reports, including WAN Optimization reports, have been corrected.
A memory leak observed when viewing the web console on Internet Explore 7 (IE7) has been fixed.
Operators used to dynamically create groups in the web console now refresh correctly.

Errors arising when deleting orphaned objects during database maintenance have been resolved.
Values returned by selected date and time variables have been corrected.
Network Sonar Discovery and Node Management no longer truncate node names to 32 and 40 characters, respectively.
Orion Report Scheduler now correctly shows existing jobs as scheduled for the current Windows user, even when they are scheduled for other users. Changing the account name under which a job is scheduled no longer defines a completely new job under the new user account name.
An issue resulting in the display of incorrect text in exported PDFs has been fixed.
An issue causing errors when previewing reports in the web console has been traced to a failure to translate Wahr/Falsch, in German, as True/False boolean values. Report schemas have been updated accordingly.
