What's new in StellarisPlanetOrganizer 1.0

Jul 15, 2023
  • You're most likely acquainted with the Stellaris game, seeing as StellarisPlanetOrganizer clearly signals its allegiance to the game. This program will allow you and any other fan of the game, like myself, to rearrange or organize planets within the save file, giving you a better picture, or at least a clear one.
  • Why do I need it?
  • Stellaris is a strategy game with some simulation elements. You're basically God and are in charge of creating new galaxies and planets, diverse ecosystems, and so on. Right, so like all similar situations, creating a lot of elements means you need some way to keep track of them. This is where StellarisPlanetOrganizer comes in.
  • The application is basic and features only two functions. One deals with opening a save file while the other allows the user to save the changed planet order from the save game. If you're a neat freak like me, you'll see the true value in this otherwise simple and not-so-helpful application.
  • A bit too simple
  • Although the idea is quite nice, I feel that maybe some extra options would have been welcomed. Altering some elements such as credits in the game or any other number of experience-related items could help users that do not have as much patience quickly get into the real game core.
  • It's still nice to know you can manually select the save file, especially since you might just have the save or saves from other machines and would like to change the order of the planets before actually injecting it into your own game system.
  • StellarisPlanetOrganizer is an application dedicated exclusively to Stellaris fans who feel a little bit more order would do them good in the game. It does not alter any other elements which depending on your stance can either be good or totally bad.
