What's new in TX Text Control ActiveX 17.0 SP1

• Multiple Table User Experience (UX) Improvements:
• Column selection:
• Using the mouse or keyboard, you can select table columns with one click on the down arrow in the first table row. Or you can simply click and drag to select some cells.
• Select cells in the middle of a table:
• You no longer have to select cells row-wise. Multiple cells can be selected in the middle of a table.
• Colored table borders:
• The color and width of every single border in each cell can be adjusted programmatically or using the built-in dialog box.
• Cell merging and splitting:
• Merge and split table cells to build professionally structured tables to represent your tabular data.
• New Spreadsheet-like Functionality:
• TX Text Control ActiveX 17.0 ships with new functionality that allows you to build spreadsheet-like applications. TableCell.Name property can be used to store data such as formulas, a name or a specific ID.
• Page and Section Borders:
• TX Text Control ActiveX 17.0 ships with an entirely new feature which allows you to add a border around one or more edges of a page or section.
• Digital Signatures in Adobe PDF and PDF/A Documents:
• TX Text Control ActiveX 17.0 now supports digital signatures in Adobe PDF and PDF/A documents. Signatures can be created with PFX, DER Cer or Base64 CER certificate files. Additionally, certificates can be loaded from raw data or selected from the local certificate store.
• The SaveSettings class has been extended with a DigitalSignature property that can be used to set the signature. To create a new signature, a valid System.Security.Cryptography.X509Certificate2 and an optional time server URL must be given. This makes it very easy to create securely signed PDF documents.
• New HTML Import and Export Filters:
• TX Text Control ActiveX 17.0 ships with improved HTML import and export filters. These new filters make it very easy to add HTML import and export to your TX Text Control ActiveX based application.
