New in TradingView 2.2.0.4011 (Feb 17, 2023)

  • New look and feel:
  • We updated the Overview page to include more data and visuals. Investors can study important trends in earnings, cash flow, profit margin, and more.
  • As you’ll see in the screenshot below, several improvements will immediately stand out:
  • Each financial line item is now more neatly positioned in columns and rows, with drop-down arrows to go deeper into a subsection, and it can be seen by quarterly or annual data.
  • We now show year-over-year (YoY) growth.
  • Investors can create their own custom bar charts at the top of the page as well by selecting the financial metrics they want to include – just click metric you want to include and the bar chart at the top will do the rest.
  • Search for financial metrics:
  • Investors will also find a search box in the Statements tab. This search feature can be used to find any fundamental metric in the tab. Type in revenue or something more complex like intangibles or amortization to quickly see specific financial data.
  • Follow dividend history:
  • Track the payout history for a company including its quarterly dividends paid, rate of change, history of payouts, and the ex-dividend date. For dividend investors, this page will make a game-changing difference by giving more historical perspective on payouts.
  • Hello, semi-annual data:
  • For companies based in Australia or New Zealand, and even some small caps across Europe, investors can now access semi-annual financial data. Certain parts of the business world do things differently, and they prefer to deal in semi-annual data. We’ve made that possible for companies located in these regions of the world.

  • One of the most popularly-demanded things to appear in the app was the option to restore tickers and intervals in tabs after restarting it. It’s been a while since the app started to restore tickers for single-chart layouts only, but you can now finalize this feature with complete cover for all kinds of chart layouts. Let us know how it works for you.
  • And the next update is our new About tab in Settings that checks for available app updates and gives you an option to manually update the app if there are any. This is only to complement the existing auto-update feature, so you won’t have to constantly check for updates to make sure that you’re up-to-date.

New in TradingView 1.0.9.2696 / May 26, 2022 (May 26, 2022)

  • New built-in indicator: 24-hour Volume:
  • We’ve added a new 24-hour Volume indicator to Pine. It’s designed to calculate the volume of daily trading turnover in a particular currency.
  • To use the new indicator, simply open the “Indicators, Metrics & Strategies” tab and select “24-hour Volume”.
  • Uniswap: new version — new data:
  • For the longest of times, we haven’t had an opportunity to brighten the community’s doorstep with exciting news from the world of decentralized finance. So we thought, let’s fix this.
  • As you may know — a year ago — a new version of the Uniswap protocol, Uniswap v3, was released. It delighted users with useful innovations such as concentrated liquidity and flexible commissions, and also showed how innovative and original decentralized exchanges could be. And now you can try all the benefits of the latest version of Uniswap on TradingView, because we’ve added its data on the Ethereum, Polygon and Arbitrum blockchains.
  • As always, to access new data, you just need to enter the appropriate prefix in the search box: UNISWAP3ETH:, UNISWAP3POLYGON: or UNISWAP3ARBITRUM:
  • Volume Profiles further improvements:
  • Your opinion is always very important to us, so we’ve taken into account all the really great feedback on our last Volume Profiles updates. And today we present you some further, super important, upgrades that’ll make working with VP even better and more convenient.
  • Bar-based periods for the Volume Profile Periodic Volume (VPPV) indicator:
  • As you know, the Volume Profile Periodic Volume indicator allowed building volume profiles for periods of more than one trading day. You could build VPPV on a certain number of days, weeks and months. In today’s update, we are expanding the functionality of the indicator by adding the ability to specify the number of bars on which volume profiles can be built.
  • Configuring custom sessions for Volume Profile Session Volume indicators:
  • The settings of the VPSV and VPSV HD indicators made it possible to select the necessary session depending on the information on which markets you are interested in. However, there are symbols that are not divided into regular and extended sessions, such as futures or forex.

  • If you’re a cleanliness-first sort of person who’s been wanting to spruce up your charts for a long time, we’ve got some great news for you: you can now hide the values of individual indicators in the legend and on the price scale.
  • It’s very a simple process:
  • Open the “Style” tab in the indicator settings.
  • Disable the options “Labels on the price scale” and “Values in the status line”.
  • Unnecessary values will now no longer distract you from your work.

  • We hope you find our new option useful and look forward to hearing your feedback and suggestions. Thanks for choosing TradingView.
