New in TuneAero 1.0.0.0 (Jan 16, 2016)

  • This is a major update. Make TuneAero a hub for your multi-room audio distribution with the new Multi-Zone feature!
  • Run multiple AirPlay receivers within one instance of TuneAero. This can be done via Settings > Multi-Zone tab > "Add Receiver" button.
  • Not only can each receiver be configured to play audio on one audio endpoint (sound card), but multiple sound cards can be selected for each receiver, and they all play in sync! Example scenario: create individual receivers targeting bedroom speakers, living room speakers, kitchen speaker etc., and then create receivers targeting all speakers or a particular group.
  • Earlier, TuneAero would default to the system's default sound device, if the configured specific sound device was unavailable. From this version, TuneAero will not auto-revert to default, but wait until the audio endpoint is available.
