- Ability to save the compression and layout configuration
- Target file size is now available in the free version
- Ability to create thumbnail images
- Drag and dropping images is now supported
- Deep scan (scan folders recursively)
- Option to replace original images (paid version only)
- Using deep scan and replace original images together makes it possible to compress all/many images on the hard drive. This can be used to reduce disk space usage.
- Advanced users can now create a batch script that will run when the compression queue finishes. SSH/SCP commands may be used here to copy the compressed images to a remote server and import the JSON file into a document database such as MongoDB (i.e. automated deployment to a website)
- The program is now 64bit which improves performance dramatically
