New in TweetDuck 1.23 (Aug 31, 2022)

  • This is an experimental version of TweetDuck that has moved from .NET Framework to .NET 6. What does this mean?
  • Modern .NET is getting new features and performance improvements, unlike .NET Framework
  • This version of TweetDuck is self-contained, so there is no need to install .NET manually
  • Installing TweetDuck on Linux and other operating systems via Wine is now trivial!
  • But it doesn't seem to work on all distributions...
  • Installation size has gone from 183 MB to 270 MB
  • In the future, it might be possible to reduce this
  • There might be bugs
  • I intend to continue supporting TweetDuck on Windows 7/8/10/11, and I also intend to support TweetDuck on other operating systems when installed via Wine (but may need your help, especially if it doesn't run at all).
  • Please try it out, and report any issues to https://github.com/chylex/TweetDuck/issues. Include your operating system and version with your report.
