What's new in TweetTwain Lite 1.7.0
Mar 26, 2011- Create Twitter List:
- Now you can create Twitter List from TweetTwain. Go to Search tab and select an account. All the existing lists will be loaded automatically with an additional option to create a new list.
- Search and add to Twitter List:
- You can search for users or a keyword and search result to an existing Twitter list or a new list.
- Clear Tweet Queue:
- It is difficult to select individual tweet and delete them one by one. We have introduced a new feature to clear the Tweet Queue. Go to Tools menu and select 'Clear Tweet Queue'.
- Un-follow All:
- New feature to unfollow all your friends.
- Export Tweets - Now TweetTwain will export:
- Tweet History
- Keyword Mentions
- Re-Tweets
- Mentions Go to Settings->Export tab to enable this feature. The data will be exported to the TweetTwain data folder(%user_home%/TweetTwain)
New in TweetTwain Lite 1.6.4 (Mar 26, 2011)
- Auto-Tweet:
- You can add as many keywords as you can, TweetTwain will publish stories related to your keywords at random intervals, thus keeps your Twitter account live! Go to the Auto-Tweet tab and just add your keyword. Please note that at most two stories will be published in 24 hours. This restriction is to prevent spamming.
- Intelligent Rate Limit Management:
- Search and Follow/Un-follow feature uses intelligent rate limit management, thus you can follow/un-follow accounts without any worries on the rate limit. Keep this in mind that above 2000 friends, you will have to keep the following-follower ratio as per Twitter guidelines.
New in TweetTwain Lite 1.6.1 (Oct 15, 2010)
- New Re-Tweet Tab: Now it is easy to know who re-tweeted your tweets. TweetTwain monitors your tweets and loads the Re-Tweet tab with the re-tweets real time! You can view the profile of the re-tweeted user, follow, send direct message or send reply to that user.
- New actions in Mentions Tab: New actions are added in the mentions tab for your convenience. Now you can reply, follow, re-tweet the mention, edit the content and re-tweet, send direct message and view the profile just by right-clicking the mention.
- New actions in Brand Monitoring screen: All the actions available for the mentions screen are also available for the Brand Monitoring screen. So, you can easily perform actions just by right-clicking the tweets.
- Search screen changes: Profile image has been removed. Number of followers and number of friends are added (We have plans to include more filters in the follow screen. Wait for the next release).
- New Tweet screen changes: Removed the option 'REPEAT_DAILY'. Still you can repeat weekly and monthly.
- Statistics screen changes: If no data available, previous day's data is copied to this date, so no more gaps in the statistics graph.
- Password Protection: Now you can protect TweetTwain with a password. Go to Settings->Options and select the Security tab. Enter a user name and password, click on Apply. TweetTwain will prompt for user name/password on launch. Leave these fields empty to de-activate this feature.
