Video Thumbnails Maker (VTM) version 8.0.0.0 or higher is required to be installed on your PC. Thumbnail sheets will be generated and added to Videonizer items automatically. You can cancel the job at any time. You can select any VTM Options and VTM Settings in Videonizer Settings window (F2 hotkey).
  • Preview system has been reworked. From now on previews are displayed in the center of the form and the size of preview picture depends on the window size. The larger the window, the larger the preview. Another innovation is related to picture selection algorithm. Since VTM version 8.0.0.0 is able to produce GIF animations without any other output, Videonizer version 3.0.0.0 allows you to add GIF animations to item's screenlists. So when you hold SHIFT, or Tilde button over datagrid name column, a preview picture is appeared and according to the new algorithm, Videonizer takes the first GIF file from the item's screenlists collection. If no GIFs were found, Videonizer takes the first screenlist. Another preview-related improvement - changing between previews has become faster.
  • "Screenlists" section is added to right mouse button (RMB) context menu, it allows you to generate thumbnail sheets in a batch for selected Items, or for Items without screenlists only, clear screenlists, clear only GIFs, physically delete screenlists from the disk.
  • "Photos" section is added to RMB context menu, it allows you to clear photos for selected Items, or physically delete photos from the disk.
  • "Preferred Video Player" selection is added to Settings window. Once a player is selected, it will be used everywhere in the program as a default player (on the main form and in the picture viewer for vtx files - you can start the video at a selected position in a double-click, without any questions).
  • Purge operation is added to operations with Beans. Hold down CTRL button to change Bean applying mode to Purge. ("Apply ..." caption will change to "Purge ..."); you can also use context menu items to work with Beans.
  • Embedded picture viewer has become MUCH MORE faster. You may notice it by cycling through item pictures.
  • New Folder Browser dialog is used everywhere in the program. It allows you to select multiple folders, when it's allowed. Also you can toggle "Add SubFolders recursively" feature ON and OFF right on the dialog form.
  • "Switch to classic Browser" button allows you to select a single folder in the old-fashioned way (this also gives you networking capabilities, if necessary).
  • Support of animated GIF pictures is added. You can add GIFs to item's screenlists and photos.
  • Press Esc button to cancel time-consuming process of adding folders to the program.
  • "FAQ" and "Tutorials" buttons are added to Hall of Fame window.
  • Embedded picture viewer has become MUCH MORE faster. You may notice that by cycling through pictures in a folder.
  • Screenlist generation for a single item is reworked in the same way as it is done for batch processing. The feature is available in item's editor form.
  • Genres were renamed to Tags.
  • Hotkeys for operations with Beans were changed to Q, W, E (with or w/o SHIFT, ALT, CTRL modifiers). The most left "Q" is for Tags, "W" is for Actors and the most right "E" is for Sites.
  • Few cosmetic changes.
  • There were rare false-positive reports from some anti-virus software.
  • Rare unexpected "Add photos" / "Add screenlists" dialog pop-up is suppressed in item's editor window.
  • The program did not check startup password properly under certain circumstances.
  • Preview image did not disappear after mouse click on the main window.
