WindowSlider Changelog
What's new in WindowSlider 0.4
Dec 28, 2011- Spatial switching - a more obvious way to switch between windows, when they are arranged in a row. Two shortcuts switch from the currently active window to its left or right neighbour.
- Tiny pause before centering on activated window. Useful when you click on inactive window - it starts to move after the click is finished.
- Tiny pause before sliding when mouse is at screen edge - to prevent accidental sliding.
- Correctly center window when taskbar is not on bottom.
- Correct upgrade. Previous versions now will be removed from "Add/remove program" list, when installing new version.
New in WindowSlider 0.3 (Dec 12, 2011)
- Touch-friendly way to slide
- Desktop gadgets are not moved now
- Window centering is more accurate
- Shortcuts have no effect when configuration window is shown (convenient when defining shortcuts)
- WindowSlider is automatically closed during uninstall or upgrade
New in WindowSlider 0.2 (Dec 9, 2011)
- It's enough to look at the tray icon to find out if WindowSlider is enabled or not (useful when enabling/disabling by double click).
- Sliding by moving mouse to screen edge can be disabled at configuration window. Siding by keyboard shortcuts will still work.
- Running several instances is detected and reported to user.
- If some other application already uses shortcuts defined in WindowSlider, this will be detected and reported to user and problem shortcuts will be disabled. Previous version crashed in such situations.
