Wino Mail Changelog

What's new in Wino Mail 1.6.2.0

Sep 11, 2023
  • What's new in v1.6.2:
  • App Themes:
  • On top of awesome UI fixes done to Wino's app shell in this version, App Themes are now live! App themes are pre-defined customization options to apply for making Wino's app shell as you like. This version comes with 2 dark (Nighty and Forest) and 3 light (Garden, Clouds, Snowflake) themes. Give them a try and let me know about!
  • New Settings Page:
  • Settings page has been reworked. I realized that all settings in the end are not going to fit in one single dialog in the future. Therefore all settings are moved to a separate page as it was designed in Windows 11 Settings app.
  • New Store Rating Dialog:
  • As Wino grows in the community, I receive lots of good ideas and reviews in Microsoft Store. App had already a rating button, but now this is slightly automated. Time to time you may see a 'Rate Wino in Store' dialog that will popup a review dialog for you. It doesn't have an aggressive approach like most of the apps do these days but gaining popularity in Store is a key to success.
  • Updated Nuget Updates:
  • Wino may not be the most complicated application out there, but it is quite a big one. Updating long-lasting nuget packages in the project may take time and different adjustments. With the release of Community Toolkit 8.0, Wino updated all controls (except the MarkdownTextblock for patch notes) to the new ones. This will boost the quality of UI overall by itself. Not only toolkit but all packages that Wino needs to make it work are updated to higher versions which you may see the benefits of them time to time.
