What's new in World of Words 5.1.2

- Both UK and US vocabulary are included.
- Changes to 'Sentences' activity:
- The sentences have been changed using a more structured approach, introducing a variety of verbs, adjectives and prepositions to connect the (mostly) nouns on the picture pages. After the sentences have been heard there is a matching activity to reinforce the language structures.
- New topic:
- The Alphabet - has no 'Writing' activity, but includes an alphabet song.
- New activity:
- Test - same as the Quiz but it goes through all of the words on the page and does not say whether the answers are right or wrong. At the end of the test the score is given with an option to see which ones were incorrect.
- Quiz and Writing:
- As well as not repeating a question within each game (10 questions), it now does not repeat a question in subsequent games until all words have been used.
- Christian words:
- There is an option to exclude Christian words. e.g. church, priest, Christmas.
- Screen size bigger, pictures bigger.
- Automatically goes to the "Words" activity on selection of a topic.
- Replaying the sound:
- Clicking on the text in the Quiz, Sentences and Test activities allows the user to hear the sound again.
