- We have added a Changelog page on our website at zenreader.co.uk/changelog
- You can open the Changelog page from Zenreader preferences
- There is now a small button on Zenreader preferences panel that you can click to close the panel
- Bug Fixes:
- Exported markings grouped by document were exported in the incorrect document order and incorrect page order. This has now been fixed.
- Fixed a bug where newly created highlights would appear in the incorrect position in the Markings sidebar panel.
- Fixed bibliography file cite key import: before the update, citation keys in .bib files were ignored by Zenreader and replaced with a {uuid}. Zenreader now accepts the input cite key and in case duplicates are detected, adds a small incremental letter to distinguish duplicates.
- Very long Document file names are now cut shorter and don’t break the user interface layout.
- Other Changes:
- In the highlight popup panel, the first 5 default highlight colors would appear again later on in the list of available tags that you could use to create the highlight. We have removed the duplication, so those base colors appear only once as an option.

- When deleting a document from the Project now its card is no more visible in the Kanban View
- Fixed minor bugs in the Outline View that did not change the content of a card when partially 'cutting' its content or 'copying' new content from the clipboard
- Sometimes the Highlight pop-up panel would no longer appear after quick repeats of the left mouse button

- UI Improvements:
- Redesigned the tag panel making it more intuitive to create and modify tags. Whilst typing a new tag name to be created, the full list of tags is now visible so that you can see what tags have similar names and what colors you have already used. You now have an option to switch into filter mode where you can just find tags. There is no longer a tag edit panel: all the renaming / color changes are done directly in the tags list view without the need of a popup screen. Moreover, a dialog appears asking for confirmation before deleting a tag, since this action is currently irreversible.
