Ziepod Changelog

What's new in Ziepod 0.99.9 Build 5 Beta

Sep 1, 2007
  • New Ziepod gives you more space at changing the width of the left panel of the Subscriptions Tab
  • About Dialog, 'Terms of Use', and 'Ziepod License Aggrement' have been updated to reflect the changes of the parenting company of Ziepod, that is Ziemantics LLC
  • We revised previously made fixes for download and synch related lethal bugs. More specifically, bugs that caused crashes at resuming downloads, deleting downloaded files and crashes at the background during synching activities.
  • Cancellation of multiple seleced synching subscriptions thru 'Subscriptions' tab failed to cancel all but the right-clicked one
  • Ziepod failed to reset those keyboard shortcuts coming with default settings. Instead, they got back to their default settings after restart.
  • In some cases, play count for episodes incremented more than once after each play.
  • Ziepod tried to overwrite ID3 tags of all downloaded files even though there was no rule set. By removing this misbehaviour, now downloaded files should be moved from 'Incomplete Downloads' to their designated download folders much faster.
  • In the deletion confirmation dialog for downloaded episodes, speaker icon was shown shifted to the right overlapping with the text.
  • Ziepod faild to reset player panel when paused episode is deleted
  • In some cases, changing the 'Incomplete Downloads' folder resulted in incomplete and failed downloads.
  • Whatever you set feature 'Replace filename with its associated post title' for an individual podcast, Ziepod ignored that, instead it looked at the global setting of the same feature.
  • When download folder and/or file name of downloaded episode is long, Ziepod either failed to download file or failed to move downloaded file from 'Incomplete Downloads' folder to its designated download folder
  • Ziepod performed unnecessary update action when downloaded episode file was deleted. By preventing this, Ziepod should be able to delete downloaded episodes a bit faster.
  • Already deleted downloaded episodes were kept listed in the Today visual mode.
  • In Windows Vista, in some cases, Ziepod show feedback dialog at start up which in normal circumstances appears after abnormal termination.
