  • Virtual Files concept: Ability to add slides to Virtual Files that only exist in the Zoom database, not as physical PowerPoint files. Virtual Slides are linked to an underlying PowerPoint slide and change whenever the underlying slide is updated. Virtual Files can be saved to a PowerPoint file at any time but eliminate the need to have several physical copies of slightly varying slide decks.
  • Enhanced search functionality now allows AND / OR combinations of keywords.

  • Advanced search functionality enables the user to search by file name, slide notes, slide text, and/or author.
  • Additional performance parameters for Zoom indexing let the user set the desired balance between indexing speed and use of system resources. In addition, indexing will be paused when PowerPoint is active.
  • Zoom will now remember any slides you add to the New Slide Deck window when you close and restart the software.
