  • When registering the software under a user with restricted user rights, admin rights can be requested via the new Run as admin button.
  • From this version onwards, the software supports sound files. A corresponding sound is emitted for certain actions (e.g. chip card events).
  • Problems with the simultaneous execution of our software in several user contexts have been resolved.

  • The abylon APP-BLOCKER software displays the option to enable Windows Update or Windows Defender only if they have previously disabled their own App Blocker features.

  • For animated images a .NET component is needed. This is now initialized correctly, so that possible call problems are excluded.

  • By optimizing the function call, the performance of all apps could be increased significantly.
  • Problems in service connection and registry access were fixed.
  • The waiting dialog when starting the software is automatically closed after 5 seconds in case of a problem.
  • When uninstalling the software, all settings made are reset. In some cases, a restart of the PC is necessary for this. If the uninstallation is not automatically reopened after the restart, it must be restarted manually. The user is informed of this by a text message.
  • During the 30-day trial period ALL functionalities are enabled for testing. After the trial period, some settings will be reset, e.g. the disabled Windows Update or Windows Defender will be automatically reactivated. Even the "superuser mode" is no longer available after 30 days.
  • In the mode SuperUser active services and drivers can be completely removed. To restore these, SuperUser must also be activated.
  • If necessary, the app blocker prompts for a restart when settings are made.
  • In service operations, the processes could be optimized so that so-called hang-ups no longer occur.

  • The new abylon APP-BLOCKER offers the reliable possibility to permanently disable Windows Update and Windows Defender. These are quickly accessible via the new "One-Click" buttons. Under certain circumstances, the user must first manually disable Windows Defender. A corresponding instruction is displayed for this.

  • Corona keeps us far under its spell and stops daily life in many areas. But the software from abylonsoft is constantly being developed further and is now also receiving a major update in 2021. The following is just a selection of the improvements:
  • CRYPTDRIVE: Open cryptdrives can now be closed again via the desktop icon.
  • PASSWORD DIALOGUE: New icons for on-screen keyboard and password obfuscation.
  • TRAY-ICON: The software intercepts the double start of the tray icon.
  • SHREDDER: Problems leading to a question dialogue are now collected and displayed at the end of the shredding process.
  • SYNC-COPY: The synchronization process has been speedup considerably, as renamed files and directories are no longer copied.
  • KEYSAFE: The cache system has been revised.
  • LOGON: The selection dialogue for multiple valid hardware keys is now intelligent and selects the last used key as default.
  • In addition, numerous bugs and problems were fixed and the functionality under restricted Windows rights was tested and optimized.

  • Abylon CRYPTDRIVE: The USB installation is not possible due to technical reasons and is no longer shown in the settings.

  • Cross-program: The waiting dialog when starting the application is now displayed as a simple hexagon with program name.
  • Abylon KEYSAFE, abylon LOGON SSO Pro: The automatic monitoring of application windows for autopmatic training was removed for performance reasons. New logon dialogs can now be taught-in via the tray icon and the menu entry Teach-in new application window.
  • Cross-program: Negative window coordinates are now intercepted programatically. In addition, the unpredictable jumping of the window while slicing would be prevented.abylon BASIC, abylon SHREDDER, abylon CRYPTDRIVE, abylon CRYPTMAIL, abylon SHAREDDRIVE, abylon LOGON, abylon LOGON SSO Pro, abylon READER, abylon LOGON Business, abylon ENTERPRISE, abylon KEYSAFE: The functionality RemoteAdmin has been removed from all modules because the registry access is over the network has not worked reliably since Windows Vista. With the abylon LOGON Business software, the settings defined on the server are distributed to the clients via a restricted user profile. - Cross-program: Drag-and-drop operations via windows with different rights are now displayed with the No entry icon.
